Five daycare workers in Mississippi are charged with child abuse after a shocking video emerged of one of the workers wearing a frightening Halloween mask to terrify 'bad' children.
The Lil' Blessings Childcare workers - Sierra McCandless, Oci-Anna Kilburn, Shyenne Shelton, Jennifer Newman and Traci Huston - were charged this week.
The horrific video that went viral earlier this month showed several workers scaring multiple toddlers into behaving. One worker in the video can be heard telling the masked monster to avoid certain toddlers who have 'been good,' saying 'don't get her.'
'The County Prosecuting Attorney, and the District Attorney met with the parents of the children involved in the incident at Lil' Blessings Child Care and Learning Center and informed them of the possible criminal charges the law would allow them to pursue,' Monroe County Sheriff Kevin Cook said in a statement.
'Parents were also given an opportunity to share information they had gathered with MCSO Investigators. '
Newman, Shelton, Kilburn and McCandless face three counts of child abuse for participating mayhem and Hutson faces two charges for not reporting the abuse, according to ABC News.
It is unclear how many parents came forward but at least one signed a child abuse affidavit.
Sierra McCandless, also known as CeeCee by the children, was the one behind the Scream-like Halloween mask.
In one of the horrific videos, McCandless was seen grabbing children who were running away in terror as she got inches away from their faces.
McCandless released an apology video earlier this month after the video went viral and said the incident 'wasn't meant to harm anybody' or be 'ill-intentioned.'

This is emotional child abuse. I saw the video complete with sound. Those small children are terrified. What is wrong with these people?

Looking at those mugshots, I have to wonder how scary the masks were.
They will probably have nightmares. Sickos who get joy from scaring little kids, hope they are punished and learn a lesson.

At least they didn’t refuse to affirm the children’s gender identity. That would be child abuse, according to supporters of Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va).

Under Mississippi state law, the prosecution may have a hard row to hoe if the perps didn’t physically harm the kids.
That said, how the heck they got hired is beyond me.
Those five shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near anybody else’s kids.
Really? Not abuse? Look at the reactions of the children. Listen to the screams. That someone would continue after seeing and hearing that...is abuse. Children that age are very fragile and vulnerable. Anyone who gets off on that type of abuse needs a serious beat down.

Fake oversized boobs on a grown ass man is way more scary than some Halloween mask.
Even the drag queens look like demons if you ask me.
I went over one day to trade vehicles. When I knocked on the door to give her the keys, there was a whole train of little tots clinging to her.

They got hired because they had a body temperature of 98.6. That is how the majority of them are hired.

Then prepare for a nightmare in court trying to prove something so subjective.
Better course of action: Sue the daycare into bankruptcy.

Every parent’s nightmare, that their caregivers would do something off the wall to their kids. Big lawsuit coming.
