My daughter worked in a day care facility. The kiddies adored her so much that they sometimes didn't want to go home when their parents came to pick them up.
I went over one day to trade vehicles. When I knocked on the door to give her the keys, there was a whole train of little tots clinging to her.
So you can get lucky.

true but mostly it’s a low paying job for folks who don’t necessarily even enjoy kids.
