Military’s top brass once embodied self-sacrifice and patriotism, but now they’re just virtue-signaling bureaucrats.
In September, the United States Air Force Academy class of 1972 met for its 50th year reunion. Compared to our experience, the Academy of today is virtually unrecognizable.
America’s foundational institutions are under assault. For decades the siege progressed incrementally, imperceptible to most observers. But recently the pace has accelerated, avoiding all pretense of subtlety. In the case of USAFA, activist generals serve as a vivid example of how a few influential individuals are able to implement President Obama’s call to fundamentally change American society.
Nowadays, when visiting USAFA, one is impressed by the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Gone are the days when cadets lived under unremitting pressure, stood at rigid attention, and bore the brunt of verbal abuse from upper class cadets. Uniforms are still worn, but in reality, cadet life is drifting away from that of a traditional military academy and towards a liberal arts environment.
According to U.S. News’ Best College Rankings, the Academy’s national ranking in the National Liberal Arts Colleges category increased from #39 to #18 from 2020 to 2022. USAFA ranks #1 in aeronautical and astronautical engineering, but this distinction only applies to schools that do not offer doctorate degrees. Currently, the civilian faculty, including visiting members, comprises 42% of the academic department.
Since 2013, when Superintendent Lt. Gen. Michael Gould introduced a comprehensive Diversity and Inclusion Program (D&I) in accordance with President Obama’s Executive Order 13583, USAFA drifted away from its historic policy of avoiding political engagement. The enactment of the program served as a harbinger of the Academy’s descent into divisive issues, when the plan declared D&I a “military necessity” and “as important as academics.”

Remember when the worst thing the Air Force brass did was try to cancel the A-10 and build golf courses with money that was supposed to go for air strips? I miss those days.
The successful plan being implemented is to so louse up the military with perversions and wokeness that recruiting becomes impossible. That goal is complete. The next step is to have our miserable warmongering congress rubber stamp the new draft law. Then the globalist/neocon alliance will have the American boys necessary to fight ALL their wars.
“Air Force, Space Force rated weakest branches in new Heritage Foundation report”
The Air Force received a “marginal” score for its capacity and capability and a “weak” score for readiness, with an overall ranking of “weak.”
In terms of capacity, the report assessed the Air Force has “86 percent of the capacity required to” fight in two major regional contingency operations. “However, the disposition of those assets limits the ability of the service to deploy them rapidly to a crisis region.”
“While the active fighter and bomber assets that are available would likely prove adequate to fight and win a single regional conflict, when coupled with the low mission capability rates of those aircraft …, the global sourcing needed to field the required combat fighter force assets would leave the rest of the world uncovered,” the report added.
In terms of capability, the report stated the Air Force has a “strong” effort to modernize its aircraft fleet, but gave a “marginal” rating for the age of its equipment and the health of its modernization programs. The report also rated the overall capability of the Air Force’s equipment as “weak,” stating, “New F-35 and KC-46 aircraft continue to roll off their respective production lines, but these additions are more than offset by aircraft retirements. As a consequence, this score will probably not improve over the next three to five years.”
Dopey me. All these years I thought and believed my fellow Americans in and outside of government loved our country. President Trump’s biggest accomplishment IMHO was in exposing the corrupt dirty swamp. It’s bottomless. So sad.

This is a problem everywhere that has similar military schools. I was recently shocked to see Texas A&M’s Cadet Corps wearing stylized golf shirts as one of their “uniforms.” How far they’ve fallen.
Obozo severely damaged the USA in many ways.....We will be paying for it until a True Leader is elected; but it may come too late.
How would it be any different if literal communist enemy moles were in charge of our military and federal govt?
Open borders, run by cartels, gangsters and drugs pouring in.
Draining the SPR, which is meant to hold us over during a war when enemy subs are sinking tankers etc.
Sabotaging our military with cultural Marxist perversion.

I live in an Air Force town, see wing nuts all the time. Not the airman of yesteryear. I’ll leave it at that.

People think (or at least claim) that a guy halfway around the world trying to clean up his backyard is a FAR BIGGER THREAT than our own government. Insane that they’re tolerated here (but thankfully, one has been zotted!).

This culture CAN BE SAVED.
But we cannot do it; the only way to restore America is a great many of us must fall on our knees and repent, then call out to Jesus Yeshua in trust.
Most hate such an idea, and simply refuse to submit to God.
If we will not, then even Trump cannot save us...
Once these people became more tolerated by society, they decided that tolerance wasn't enough. They wanted to spread their disease.
When we take a look around, we can see evidence of this everywhere, from K-12 schools and universities to entertainment to the military, and beyond.
Sexual perversion used to be identified as a mental illness. It appears that this is one of those mental illnesses that, if untreated, can develop into a psychopathic/sociopathic disorder.
