On October 2, Allendale United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, Florida, hosted a drag queen during its Sunday service, allowing him/her to deliver a sermon on “acceptance” and join the ministers at the altar to assist during the service.
Isaac Simmons, the drag queen, who was dressed like a demon, preached the importance of defeating “systems of oppression” in society and Christianity in order to truly “love one’s neighbor as oneself.”
Simmons stated: “We are here to learn and to grow and to deconstruct and to reimagine what church can be, who church can be for, and how church can feel together.” It is obvious that Simmons wants church to be “for” him—and cringeworthy that he talks about how it “can feel together.”
The demon drag queen added: “[Church] can be a place unafraid to denounce queerphobia, a place unafraid to name the sin of racism, and to call for an end to white supremacy. A place where all have equal and equitable access not just to the pulpit itself, to the sanctuary, but to God themself, and all that it represents within the community.” Of course. Church is a place to denounce “queerphobia,” but also to welcome a homosexual drag queen dressed as a demon sermonizing about acceptance while referring to God as “themself.”
In other words, we must embrace the hostile takeover fundamental transformation of the Christian church and religion or be smeared as bigots.
Incredibly, Simmons, who when dressed in drag goes by the name of “Ms. Penny Cost” – a blasphemous allusion to Pentecost and the Holy Spirit – is currently in the process of seeking ordination in the United Methodist Church.

Thankfully, conservative Methodists are leaving the UMC and formed the Global Methodist Church.
REASONS FOR AFFILIATING WITH THE GLOBAL METHODIST CHURCH

There are 2 post-modern revisionist concepts here that should be addressed. They stem from Pentacostal hobby-horses that should be rejected.
1. St. Paul, like most of the Christians he taught was an ethnic Jew when he dies. He did not carry the errors of the Jewish faith to the grave. The statement made accuses Paul of being a Judaizer, like those he told the Galatians to reject. This is simply a backhanded attempt at iconoclasm and intends to deconstruct the church to better fit the post-modern era.
2. Peter did NOT start the Christian church. This statement is laughingly in error. The church was started by God back in Egypt and came to include ALL of mankind. This kind of falderol is used to counter Pope Leo’s declaration that the first Pope was Peter. There is no evidence of any one person (other than the person of God the Father) being “head” of the Church and an equal hobby-horse within the Pentecostal tradition.
Both a modern and post-modern construction of the HUMAN mind, filled with error and ultimately animus toward God.
In construction, it tears down the existing construction.
I suggest you find a better teacher of the Gospel.
If parishioners (not sure correct term for Methodists) ever go back to this church they support this.
This is how you know where people stand — where do their feet go? If they don’t walk away they are wholeheartedly for it.
Case closed.
You also presented who it is that closed it, and how long ago it was closed.
“Lord, have mercy.”
That happened a while back. Unfortunately, almost all, if not ALL, of the former so-called mainstream churches have been afflicted. Satan has turned the church against itself.
“accursed”
HATE it when the various versions mince words.
In this context, the Greek ‘anathema’ is crystal clear in its implication: “let him be damned to Hell.”
