There are 2 post-modern revisionist concepts here that should be addressed. They stem from Pentacostal hobby-horses that should be rejected.
1. St. Paul, like most of the Christians he taught was an ethnic Jew when he dies. He did not carry the errors of the Jewish faith to the grave. The statement made accuses Paul of being a Judaizer, like those he told the Galatians to reject. This is simply a backhanded attempt at iconoclasm and intends to deconstruct the church to better fit the post-modern era.
2. Peter did NOT start the Christian church. This statement is laughingly in error. The church was started by God back in Egypt and came to include ALL of mankind. This kind of falderol is used to counter Pope Leo’s declaration that the first Pope was Peter. There is no evidence of any one person (other than the person of God the Father) being “head” of the Church and an equal hobby-horse within the Pentecostal tradition.
Both a modern and post-modern construction of the HUMAN mind, filled with error and ultimately animus toward God.
In construction, it tears down the existing construction.
I suggest you find a better teacher of the Gospel.
