1. What is your credit score? (And ask to see recent credit report)

These questions are just the starting point. It is much better to have an awkward conversation now than having this conversation in front of your lawyer, or the judge in your case. Divorces and reveal embarrassing personal information, so if you cannot bring it up to your fiancé imagine how you will feel in a deposition.

After I was divorced compatability in faith and politics was a must even before a first date.
Also, if a woman had children at home. I wouldn’t date her. I would tell those women she needed to focus on them until they were grownup and gone.

Is someone sloppy with their money? Are they responsible and pay their bills? Do they live inside their means? If their credit score is low, was it because of some catastrophic event beyond their control that they are working to overcome?
Yeah, I would want to know.
I almost said “I do” to an irresponsible man who had plenty of money for frivolous crap but never enough to pay the regular bills. I took a long, hard look at what the future would be and walked away...into the arms of an amazing man with a credit rating that matched my own.
If they aren’t responsible with their money before children, you should not consider procreation with them.
Doesn’t always work.
My mom was 5’2” tall, had 5 children, a full figure, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
I followed my father’s side of the family.
I’m 5’8” tall, with long blond hair, blue eyes, 3 children, and a slim build.
I beg to differ.
My middle child’s premature birth set us back $67,000 after insurance.
That was the start.
I wouldn’t trade my children for all the money in the world but, depending on the circumstances, having children can be financially devastating.

I look at it as no one ever responds to the actual reasons stated, all they do is attempt guilt shaming and call names.
We answered all these questions after the wedding everything changed.
It took me 12 years to realize children of alcoholics are commonly broke for life.
