1. How does a U.S. collective bargaining agreement work with European laws? They can base the London team in Tampa, that will be their American headquarters. All the players will live and practice there except when they are playing in London on game day. They will have an agreement with the British government to be taxed only when they are playing in the U.K.

LOL you should have seen it in the 70s. Stuff that gets a straight red today weren’t even called fouls.

Yes, I’ve noticed that from the 90”s highlights. Alos noticed theyhad far fewer international players. Those English dudes were scrappers.

“ I agree with that. Nowadays, football players are much faster and stronger than the boys who played back in the ‘50s.”
Make the rim 11 feet? I’m enjoying watching NFL games again. I tuned out all the noise. Not going to let the idiots in the league office ruin my viewing pleasure.

A lot of great Scottish players too on those teams. They used to have the British Home Championship every year, where England played Scotland.

NFL has larger things to worry about that will kill domestic viewership. For instance you can't tackle QBs anymore unless you provide a dress, pillow, and Linus’ blue security blanket (Soon to spread to WRs and RBs).

I agree. It’s touch football. But you gotta protect the Quarterback.

Why not NFL world wide? Big Ten conference spans from Pacific coast to Atlantic coast. Proximity is no consideration any longer.

If you look at all the major North American sports, the one where a European team or division is most feasible is hockey — and the NHL has never seriously considered it (for a whole bunch of reasons). I don’t see how the NFL would have a better chance of success over there.

Yeah, but bringing in Pep and Archuileta and the Barca style, did you see Arsebal and Liverpool Sunday? Brilliant match. Great to see Baka hit that penalty.
Yeah, I'm an addict, lol.

In that scenario it’s not really a London-based team. It’s more like a Tampa-based team that has been permanently displaced by a major hurricane and is forced to play its home games somewhere else.

I think you might see the NBA expand to Europe, as they are about to get flooded with European players.
They are already proclaiming Victor Wembanyama as the next dominant player, when he enters the 2023 NBA Draft.
