Long list with a lot of negative comments.
“Billy Don’t Be a Hero”
“The Night Chicago Died”
“Hooked on a Feeling” (oooga oooga oooga shaka...oooga oooga oooga shaka...oooga oooga oooga shaka...)
Yup - there it is. Starship - “We Built This City”. Worst song I’ve ever heard in any language. Just so bad on multiple levels.
And "Billy Don't be a Hero."
I do, too. I suspect the author of this author wasn’t even born when many of these songs were created.
How dare you diss “Dancing Queen”!
That's the trouble with ABBA. They're so polarizing.
Either you hate ABBA, or you're wrong...
I think if a man from the future visited Grace Slick back in 1967 and played that song and told her one day she would be doing it, she would have offed herself.
“Who Let the Dogs Out” was called “Doggie” when I heard it while in Trinidad during Carnival February 1998. It was their Road March song that year. To my surprise I started hearing it here in the states later that year.
Beauty is in the ear of the beholder, but for me most Pop songs are annoying.
Having My Baby
Muskrat Love
So what do y’all think about “Atlantis” - Donovan? It sucks AND kicks ass at the same time. I THINK that I think it’s a cool song, but sometimes I wonder if I actually DON’T like it.
Billy Batts hates it.
Islands in the Stream and I will Survive....
I love all of these tunes! i was too poor for a record player or an 8 track or a cassette player or even a radio back then. I heard all of these tunes on car radios - not my car. I love them all. To me, they tell our life, our history, through the songs of the day. I really love Big Band 1940s.
Hooked on a Feeling” (oooga oooga oooga shaka...oooga oooga oooga shaka...oooga oooga oooga shaka...)
The only saving grace for this monstrosity is the hilariously bad horrendous video David Hasselhoff made to this song.
Lemme see if I can find it so I can share the horror. It’s one of those “so terrible that it’s really funny” things.
Weird Al needs to do a “Sammy Davis Eyes” parody.
Love ABBA! We met Al Stewart and Leon Redbone. Al is still performing, Year of the Cat.
Amazing...this is crap from A to Z...pure crap.
