Here is Central Illinois gas prices jumped some 30 cents yesterday and are now again over $4 a gallon for reg. Why and why now? Have your gas prices creeped up, are you paying more than you were 2.5 years ago?
And Brandon has just about used up the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. Draining it was supposed to help Democrats in the mid-terms.
Filled up at a northern Michigan Sam’s Club at $3.89 while the signs were being changed nearby to $4.49.

It jumped $.36 cents at two gas stations in the DFW area, just since YESTERDAY!!

Yes, the recession was winning the demand side of the race in lowering prices - yay - but now the geopolitical fumbling is winning the supply side of the race in driving them back up - yay! Ain't we lucky?
Why, now? Simple, any inflation numbers will come out after the November election. They kept the prices down low so no reports will come out showing an increase until after November. Then, they can blame it on Republicans and Trump.

Premium grade is $7.19 at the Chevron on Market St in San Francisco. It has been at that price for the past three days. Regular is $6.89 per gallon.
If derivatives were based on interest rates, well things went wrong. Thank you Biden and Congress for over spending by the trillions igniting inflation in the US. Biden's war on energy ignited a global inflation. The Fed has pretty much has only one tool to fight inflation and that is the interest hammer.

Here in Western Lower Michigan our gas prices were around 2.26 towards the end of President Trump’s term, rose to 5.25 under Biden and dropped to 3.29 when the Strategic reserve started being dumped and the economy began tanking. Now has jumped back to 4.50 and rising.

By raising fuel prices we are decreasing traffic congestion and the amount of evil carbon spewed into the atmosphere.
