I thought there would be greater security around the newborn infants. I couldn’t get the article, but did this occur in the pre-dawn hours, when most hospitials can be empty and very quiet?
Even then, I had thought their would be layers of defense to protect these helpless babies.
Some parents are going to be beyond furious this was somehow allowed to happen. Hopefully, hypoxia (deficient oxygen to the brain and body) did not fully occur.

My impression is that this type of attack was utterly unthinkable in that conservative area, and so people's guards were down. The attack was likely initially looked at with disbelief and a corresponding pause.
This perp has the same malfunctions of the Sandy Hook shooter, the Stoneman Douglas shooter, the Uvalde shooter, the Oxford High School shooter, The El Paso Walmart shooter, etc, etc.
Young males from dysfunctional families that are evil hearted at the core, and doctors think it can all be fixed with psychotropic drugs.
