I’ll bet those sick people wish they had gone to a cheese shop uncontaminated by cheese.

Ouch! Listeria is a bad one. Can go to your brain, make you crazy and kill you.

Here, too. I’m glad the cheese I bought at the supermarket tonight isn’t “uppity.”

This conservative loves them.

They came for my Roquefort years ago. Ugh!!!

My mom had the most badass dressing recipe. Used to eat it out of the blender.

Mousebender: Any Dorset Blue Vinney?
Wensleydale: No.
Mousebender: Brie, Roquefort, Pont-l’Évêque, Port Salut, Savoyard, Saint-Paulin, Carre-de-L’Est, Boursin, Bresse-Bleu, Perle de Champagne, Camembert?
Wensleydale: Ah! We do have some Camembert, sir.
Mousebender: You do! Excellent.
Wensleydale: It’s a bit runny, sir.
Mousebender: Oh, I like it runny.
Wensleydale: Well as a matter of fact it’s very runny, sir.
Mousebender: No matter. No matter. Hand over le fromage de la Belle France qui s’apelle Camembert, s’il vous plaît.
Wensleydale: I think it’s runnier than you like it, sir.
Mousebender: (smiling grimley) I don’t care how excrementally runny it is. Hand it over with all speed.
Wensleydale: Yes, sir. (bends below counter and reappears) Oh...
Mousebender: What?
Wensleydale: The cat’s eaten it.
Mousebender: Has he?
Wensleydale: She, sir.
Mousebender: Gouda?
Wensleydale: No.

I don’t know if these were labeled organic, but I go out of my way to avoid organic fresh foods, because they are the usual types that are recalled.

“It’s the best cheese shoppe in the district, squire.”

“Explain the logic behind that conclusion.”

“It’s so clean, sir!”

“It’s certainly not contaminated with any cheese...”

Brie wrapped in phyllo dough and baked and served with jelly is pretty special.

You know what I discovered for myself, a good Cheddar is very nearly as addicting as chocolate. The diagram goes something like:

“Is there Cheddar in the fridge?” ——> Yes. Eat some! -——> No. There is no Cheddar. I wish I had me some Cheddar, because, I would eat it.

“...20 brands of brie and camembert..

I like the artificial cheese you get in individually-wrapped slices, the stuff that tastes like wallboard and has the consistancy of rotted plastic.

In the fridge at this moment: extra strong cheddar, Stilton, Red Leistershire, Lancashire, and under heavy guard a block of Lincolnshire Poacher. Also, Gorgonzola, Parmesiana Reggiana, and a bag of buffalo mozzarella.
