Ladies and gentlemen, this here is the most ice-cold gunslinging lawman in all of Washington:
[Warning: Violence]
video at link...........................
Yeah. Dude calmly parked, put down his coffee, grabbed his rifle, sighted in with his red dot, used the cruiser to brace himself, then downed an active shooter at 183 yards!
He was probably whistling the "Andy Griffith" tune the whole time too.
Suspect down.
Absolutely legendary.
More on this incident:
And from KIRO 7:
The Pierce County Force Investigation Team released the video as part of its ongoing investigation into the shooting. Investigators concluded Collins fired off 15 rounds, while Tacoma police officers returned nine rounds, all of them over a 16-minute period.
The last shot came from a TPD officer, identified as Christopher Munn, who fired his weapon 183 yards away.
If we get Officer Munn together with Eli Dickens, we could take out every bad guy from LA to New York! P.S. Now check out our latest video: "Highlights from Biden's speech last night" 👇

That is almost the distance from Pontius Pilate’s residence to Our Lord’s tomb!
Not so legendary. Put the dot on the target and pull the trigger. Most red dots are 2 moa. That is a 4 inch dot at 200 yards. AR 15s shoot flat from 0-200 yards . No hold over or compensation needed. The bullet impacts where the dot is.
Just another day at the office.
Every conservative woman is now drooling.
Huge respect to this guy!
We need more of ‘em.
No mention of his donut.
Cop donut jokes are really tiresome.
.
Hard to believe that the article gives no date for this event.
Journalism 101 down the toilet.

Like a Boss.
I know one or maybe 2 people who could do this, no way in hell I could.
I would also bet any amount of money this guy was once stationed at JBLM
The reflex/holographic sights I have on rifles are 1 and 2 MOA, so only 2"/4" at 200 yds. Larger dots are more appropriate for pistols and shotguns. 200 yards isn't "legendary" for a man sized target, especially shooting supported like the officer. Still good shooting and one of the calmest, most composed shoots I've seen by a LEO.
“183 yards with a red dot is kinda legend territory.
My red dot would obscure a target nearly 200 yards away ...”
Not if it is 6x.
He should have walk over to the dead perp and wrote him a ticket for littering
P
“agree. It is a legendary shot”
I was shooting the 200 yd targets when a guy set up next to me to sight in his deer rifle. First shot was 7” from center. Adjustment to scope made and he nailed it. Packed up his rifle and left.
” Most red dots are 2 moa.”
A quick search shows red dots up to 6x.
From back when movies were for entertainment and not wokeness indoctrination...
from 2 places...heh...
