Katie Couric, a TV icon, is battling breast cancer.
The 65-year-old former "Today" show anchor just revealed she was diagnosed in June. Cancer is no stranger to Katie ... she lost her first husband, Jay Monahan, to colon cancer in 1998. Her sister died from pancreatic cancer and her mother-in-law died from ovarian cancer. She said, "My mood quickly shifted from disbelief to resignation. Given my family's history of cancer, why would I be spared? My reaction went from, "Why me? to Why not me?"

Yes and no- politics aside, i damn well bet she helped cover up all of matt lauer’s rapes and sexual abuses while she railed against a video of Donald Trump. If she didn’t cover them up, she sure as hell was silent about them- so she’s made herself a very easy target.
That said- her daughter must be freaking out considering the family history.
Are you the only one on FR able to assert your First Amendment Rights? Or are you the Hall Monitor?
Maybe she can tell us it would have been worse if she was not double-boosted.

Um ..... maybe not.

“I’m Watching People Being Killed”
Dr. Kruger stated that she sees vaccination as a trigger for fast-growing tumors and autoimmune diseases. She’s seeing a lot of inflammation alongside tumors, and of course, it’s not only breast cancer. Many other pathologists have reported to Dr. Kruger that they’re seeing an elevation in cancers, cancers in multiple organs, and rare cancers.
She ended off by saying “I studied medicine because I wanted to help people. But now it feels like I’m watching people being killed and there’s nothing I can do”.
The first step to solving any issue is acknowledging there’s a problem. We have a huge problem, and in order to begin to resolve it, it must be acknowledged. It’s time to start pressuring doctors to speak out. Any doctor who’s aware enough to understand that something is off must begin to address the issue. An additional motivation may be the pressure of knowing that it’s all about to blow up, and they don’t want to be standing on the wrong side of the line when it does.
Sometimes by sharing your health issues and concerns, it might just help someone else realize they should probably get checked.
Prayers for Katie.
Lost my sister-in-law to it in 2001.
Nobody should have to suffer like she did................
Yeah, what’s the point anyhow?
Trump’s fault.
My prayers to Christ for your recovery. I hope you know Him, Katie.
And to men younger than 50, if there is a history of colon polyps in your family, get a Colonoscopy. My father had polyps, had them removed twice. I'm female, and have been getting Colonoscopies regularly since I was 50. I'm 75 now. Ended up with a perforated bowel due to diverticulitis in 2010, had a resection, and a temporary colostomy for three months, then the reversal.
In 2019 my youngest son, then 48, was diagnosed with large cancerous polyps. His Gastroenterologist told him he wished he had come to see him 10 years before, but the problem is, 10 years earlier, they weren't screening people aged 38. He had two resections, and they removed over 70 lymph nodes. They took a large part of his colon out, and he went through 6 months of chemo. He still has bad neuropathy in his feet...a side effect of the chemo. He also had it in his hands, but after a year or so, that went away. And because they took out so much of his colon, he has to go to the bathroom more often. He's cancer free, and will have to continue to be scanned on a regular basis. When I told my Gastroenterologist about my son's colon cancer, he told me they are now screening men at an earlier age, because they have seen an uptick of colon cancer in younger people...mostly men. Get screened if you haven't done it already. It just might save your life.
Our insurance broker confirmed this, recently.
Said he’s seen a 250% increase in death claims, this year.
Then, he added…and, cancers!
He never did seem to put two and two together. 🙃
yes, but no videos, please.
If it is a "puff" piece, all the interviewee has to do is smile and nod.
Regards,
There is that..but also I have gotten a lot of good info here from people sharing their medical information and treatments
And here is one all people should pay attention to..it could save your life...if you don’t know what is wrong with you and can’t get Drs to pay attention order the LDH isoenzyme test and look to see if you have composition changes
I haven’t had a colonoscopy. I know of a test people should get that my Dr had never heard of .it’s not a replacement for the gold standard but appears to be pretty accurate alternative...and you can get it when you go for your other blood tests..but yeah...you don’t care about info like that
“That was harsh.”
Somebody has to say it
These self acclaimed celebrities aren’t the only ones dealing with health issues and it would help if they would stop screwing up our medical system
Just mail it in from home and safe yourself a lot of trouble
ping to you
It’s a blood test. You can’t just mail it in
