SAN DIEGO, CA / ACCESSWIRE / September 26, 2022 / The Spy Motorcycle - The World's first electric motorcycle with built in solar panels, goes on sale today. lol..
On the one hand it makes sense because EVs are torquey sons of guns, which boosts the giggle factor, especially on a scooter. And the fact that the range sucks eggs is less a factor because most people with an option opt to take long trips on four wheels, not two.
But EVs have no “Heavy Metal Thunder.” Motorcycles would have never got where they are without the ROAR of the engine. So I don’t see much of a future for bikes that are all “smoke and lightnin’” and no heavy metal thunder.
40 mph? Hard pass. Worthless except for city streets.
For safety, I understand in the not too distant future people will have a choice and will be able to program in any number of sounds their EV can emit. Even the horns will have a menu of options, such as the cow horn, a woman screaming, and the horn sound of automatic gun fire should be quite popular.
Something that kicks in right away.
That is a scooter, period.
There are way better electric motorcycles on the market right now. They must have a good PR department.
Yep...
“Worthless except for city streets.”
Not even then... Everyone does 45 in 35 zones. And very few 25 zones left anymore.
What a gyp.
There are more pics of the riders than the bike itself and only ONE full pic of the bike...a lousy pic at that.
That was awesome. Cory was right, he didn’t make any mistakes, except for the alarm music and the bugicide on the GoPro.
