Former Trump White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany’s meteoric rise to cable news stardom does not surprise anyone who has followed her in press conferences.
McEnany left the Trump White House in January 2020 and after a hiatus ended up at Fox News.
A pro at fast thinking and articulation in rebuking, McEnany has what it takes to rise up as a political commentator with the likes of Hannity and Carlson.
Her Fox News show, Outnumbered” is a popular addition to the lineup for viewers at the network.
The hour-long show features a female panel of four and One Lucky Guy, which is a guest slot. The show tackles headline stories from all angles and perspectives.
But McEnany doesn’t mind sounding off on her own against liberal statements.
McEnany went viral again on Thursday as she rebuked a patently false claim from Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams regarding fetal heart tones.
“There is no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks. It is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body,” Abrams said this week during a campaign event at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center in Atlanta.
“I believe that abortion is a medical decision, not a political decision. Arbitrary politically-defined timelines are deeply problematic because they ignore the reality of medical and physiological issues,” she added in a clip tweeted by the Republican National Committee, which also accused Abrams of supporting no limits on abortion.

McEnany also responded to Abrams during a segment on Outnumbered, where she serves as a primary co-host.
“Stacey Abrams said there’s ‘no such thing as a heartbeat at 6 weeks. It is a manufactured sound designed to convince people that men have the right to take control of a woman’s body’ – She is wrong! I heard my baby’s heartbeat at my 1st OBGYN appointment. It was not manufactured!” she tweeted along with the show segment.

Obviously viewers like McEnany’s brand of no-nonsense conservative comments, because her show has been rising in the ratings for weeks, leaving competitors in her time slot in the dust.
In addition to drawing in more overall viewers, ‘Outnumbered’ also topped competitors in the 25-54 age demographic in early August, which is sought after most by advertisers.
“‘Outnumbered’ got almost three times as many viewers as CNN’s ‘Inside Politics’ and did more than triple MSNBC’s show in the timeslot, Andrea Mitchell Reports, which continues to hemorrhage viewers,” Slay News reported on Tuesday, citing Monday’s viewership figures. “McEnany’s daytime show also crushed some of CNN’s primetime lineup, beating Don Lemon 1.768M to 649K.”
Here are the viewership figures for the ‘Outnumbered’ timeslot, which airs at noon EDT:
Fox, OUTNUMBERED: 1,768,000
CNN, INSIDE POLITICS: 605,000
MSNBC, ANDREA MITCHELL REPORTS: 580,000
Newsmax, JOHN BACHMAN NOW: 152,000
Newsnation, BLUE BLOODS: 171,000
In addition, Fox News dominated the day in total viewers, as it has for roughly a year:
CNN: 539,000
Fox News: 1.71 million
MSNBC: 917,000
Here is the breakdown for the 25-54 Demo:
CNN: 110,000
Fox News: 229,000
MSNBC: 112,000
While August has started off well for Fox News, the network dominated July ratings as well, just as it has for more than a year.
“FNC just completed its 18th consecutive month as the most-watched basic cable network in total day, averaging 1.35 million total day viewers in July 2022, per Nielsen live-plus-same-day data. Fox also averaged 194,000 adults 25-54 in total day for July. Compared to the previous month of June, however, Fox News lost -2% in total day viewers and -8% in the total day demo. How about Fox News primetime? The network remains far and away No. 1 in cable news, but shed -3% in total primetime viewers and -8% among the primetime demo vs. June,” Ad Week reported.
McEnany continued this month as her “Outnumbered” program on Fox News draws more viewers, Conservative Brief reports.
In fact, she and her show have made it to THE top 20.
The show broke into the top 20 programs in all of cable television this week, besting every program on rival networks CNN and MSNBC.
Several other Fox News programs were also in the top 20, with Tucker Carlson’s nightly offering at No. 4.

“Outnumbered” is a show to watch as it continues to climb in the ratings, and the midterm elections draw closer.
I did not realize it was “her” show. If anyone, I would have thought it was that black woman’s show (can’t remember her name).
Harris Faulkner is who I was thinking of.
It is Harris’s show
Ok. This is winning on a next level. Feels good!
Kayleigh McAnany in title

republican brief
skool must have been brief too
Hope she has some guests. Kooky lesbian Karine, Pstupid Psaki. And that disinformation clown Jankowitch. She’ll make them look like the fools that they are. Just a thought as it will never happen.
I haven’t watched Fox in a long time I thought Outnumbered was Harris Faukner’s show!!
The hour-long show features a female panel of four and One Lucky Guy, which is a guest slot.Outnumbered because "The View" was already taken.
I'm sure Harris Faulkner (she's black, right?) doesn't mind being kicked to the curb by Fox in favor of "Kayleigh McEnany’s meteoric rise to cable news stardom"...
Jeez don’t compare her with Hannity ffs
Outnumbered (sometimes stylized as Out#) is an American daytime news and talk show that airs weekdays on Fox News at 12 p.m. ET.
Hosts Harris Faulkner, Emily Compagno, Kayleigh McEnany and a rotating female panelist with one male guest panelist, discuss the news and issues of the day.
There are THREE Current Hosts:
Harris Faulkner (2014–present) — an Emmy Award-winning journalist and author, host of The Faulkner Focus
Emily Compagno (2021–present) — lawyer and former Oakland Raiders head cheerleader
Kayleigh McEnany (2021–present) — former White House press secretary for the Trump administration
This show atarted with Harris. They have morphed their lineup on all FOX shows… The Five started with Greg.
I remember watching KM many many times on either CNN or MSNBC. It has been a long time since I watch those channels so forgive my bad memory. She used to debate with all those hard libs on that channel.
Congratulations Kayleigh!
What does it matter? Bunch of yapping talking heads. The entire industry is one giant circle, well, you know. They do nothing but distract and willingly or as dupes spread the narrative.
I *think* it is Harris Faulkner's AND Kaleigh McAnany's show (not sure). Emily Compagno is also a regular host of Outnumbered, along with Harris and Kaleigh. It is often a very good show, from what I've seen of it. They rarely include any leftists. ;-)
I hope Kaleigh got combat pay for her appearances on CNN. She continuously was viciously attacked from all sides, but emerged victorious every time I saw her. She *really* held her own on those CNN shows.
They gave Harris her own show right before the Outnumbered. Please watch both.
I can’t stand Harris Faulkner. She’s always trying to sound smarter than the average person. And she has a whole hour long show just before Outnumbered.
HARRIS FAULKNER, first time I ever saw her was Hurricane Katrina, she’s a real #1 reporter and not hard to look at.
