With flu season approaching in the US, murmurs of a potential "twindemic" brewing are once again starting to surface.
"This could very well be the year," Vanderbilt infectious disease expert Dr. William Schaffner told NPR's Up First on Friday, "we have a surge in COVID, and simultaneously an increase in influenza."
One big reason that infectious disease experts are especially worried this year is because Australia's 2022 flu season was pretty bad, and what happens during the Southern Hemisphere's winter flu surge often forshadows the US flu season well.

Like the parent’s whose kids were given ADULT doses of the china virus $hots, at their pharmacy?
That kind of informed?
Or, informed consent, as with the china virus $hots?
🤔
No, thanks ;-)
No more MUZZLES.
I used to do the clean the carts with disinfectant thing....then, decided, or heard somewhere, that those germs are actually building up your natural immunity.
I just spray my hands, with alcohol spray, when I get in the car and wash them, good, once home.
That should work!
Cardiac Adverse Events after Vaccination—A Systematic Review
There's a lot to review, and not just regarding CoupFlu vaxxes.
If you get a chance sometime, do a search on the hygiene hypothesis. :-)
It’s more complicated.
Whether you are getting enough can only be determined by blood test.
No testing then you do not know.
Examples:
Some people do not convert sun exposure into vitamin D well.
People who have more body fat have less vitamin d circulating because it gets trapped.
The only way to know is to get tested.
I’d guess your level is low. Have you had your blood tested for vitamin D serum levels?
Yup…dirt….bugs…etc, what we played in (and, some kids even ate!) growing up.
Amen...and drop a few pounds.
It’s just THE FLU.
The infantilizing of Americans continues apace.
Speaking of blood tests for Vitamin D. I’ve been around a few decades. Never had a Vitamin D level test in my life. Then CoupFlu hits, I go in for a physical, go to get my panel done and what do you know, there’s the test on my order.
Doc never told me I was getting one. I never got an answer for why it was on there. And I was never told that Vitamin D might also, among other benefits, be efficacious in preventing and/or ameliorating a case of the coof.
What I’d like to know: If Vitamin D level tests were up nationwide after the February 2020.
What did Big Med know and when did it know it.
The reason I asked is that a Moderna officer was reported to say they are working on applying mRNA technology to other diseases, such as flu.
Don’t trust any needle in my body since Wuhan. They’ll dump the fauci juice/flu cocktail for big pharma into your veins.

Crest to the rescue!
FWIW, I’m a big believer in washing one’s paws. With soap and water preferably if that’s avaliable.
But for general household use, we don’t use antimicrobial cleaners.
Flu activity peak months in the U.S. from the 1982-1983 through 2021-2022 flu seasons*
Strategic masking = no mask (for me, anyway)
Just wash your hands and take vitamin D, and no flu worries at all.
"After the remarkable success of the mRNA vaccines in protecting people against COVID-19, scientists are turning their attention next to another annual respiratory scourge: influenza."
What a crock..!
