Good. Now, do termites. Their farts emit more ‘ghg’ than all human autos and trucks combined.

“That’s 12 megatons of biomass—more than all the wild birds and mammals taken together.”
Hm. Humans add up to what? Maybe 400 megatons? And to maintain that weight, there must be lots of megatons of domesticated animals, far more than wild ones.

But six researchers have come up with the latest—and most comprehensive—estimate of the number of ants in the world: 20 quadrillion.Which, coincidentally enough, is the same number of tax dollars that was spent on the research. Give or take a quadrillion.

Meh. This is just an evil government plot. They are using this to bring the word, “quadrillion” into the common vernacular so we won’t be so paralyzed by its upcoming use in articles regarding the economy, national debt and taxes.

I made recent forays into large numbers and so a quadrillion doesn't sound like a lot to me.
It helps to learn that the number of possible, unique games of chess possible exceeds the number of atoms in the observable universe.
