When Prince Harry first started dating Meghan Markle, it seemed that her relationship with her boyfriend's father was perfectly normal.
Then, when Meghan's father backed out of coming to the huge wedding, King Charles stepped in and walked his future daughter-in-law down the aisle.
Many assumed that the moment signified that the two were quite close. However, when Harry and Meghan decided to leave behind their roles as working members of the Royal Family and head back to Meghan's homeland, it became clear that their relationship was far from great.
In recent months, Meghan has continued to solidify the tension between herself and husband's father, openly discussing Harry and Charles' relationship issues. But according to a new source, Meghan has made an unusual formal request to the grandfather of her children.
Meghan and Harry are expected to return to Montecito, California, very soon after the funeral events end. However, a "very good source" claims that Meghan has asked to meet with the King prior to their departure.
During his YouTube channel, Neil Sean's Daily News Headlines Royal expert Neil Sean claims that an insider revealed to him that Meghan wants to meet with the king in hopes of healing the relationship before she leaves the country. "And as ever allegedly," he noted.
"She'd now like before they return back to California to have a one-to-one audience with King Charles III," he revealed. "That's right. Meghan one-to-one with King Charles. You heard correct."
Apparently, Meghan wrote to the King in a letter. "And what's interesting here is according to that good source, this was made in a formal letter. This is how you write to the King through his equity and of course that's passed on, etc.," he said. "Now, you know, you have to admire Meghan's self-belief, whatever you think."
"It would be an opportunity to clear the air, pull the rights from wrongs and explain some of the rationale behind what they've been doing over the last two years," he said about the contents of the letter. Will a meeting make things better and will it actually happen? "Truthfully, we have no idea if this is going to go forward," he said.
Maybe she wants the Royal Sussex brand back. She and Harry started that after Queen Elizabeth made them Duke and Duchess of Sussex (and they’re referred to as the Sussexes), but they gave up the branding when they stepped back from royal duties.
Meghan thought Royal Sussex branding would make them a lot of money.
When she married into the royal family, she had to give up her acting career, like Princess Grace of Monaco did. She wasn’t ready for that; she wanted to have her cake and eat it too.

I guess the aspect of “working royals” they found objectionable was the “working” part. I look forward to seeing either or both on a street corner with a cardboard sign reading “Will be royal for food.”
Divorce is preferable to letting kids grow up in a sick situation with no opportunity to see it from some distance, and nothing to compare.

If he were to agree to meet with her, he should require the presence of Harry, a person of his choice, and a recorder.

Harry ought to take kids and go back to UK. I’ve always felt there’s something odd about the children situation. I don’t see how they left them for 17 days either?

For good reason, Elizabeth forbade the “Royal Sussex” lifestyle and goods branding scheme. In addition to basically being a celebrity endorsement grift, it would have made Meghan and “the Sussexes” the commercial face of the British monarchy.
Who knows, but Harry and Meghan may defy expectations and be responsible and loving parents.

Nobody that I know in Britain had anything against MeAgain because she was foreign, most consorts of the monarchs down the years have been foreign in any case. It was because she undermined the values of the monarchy which were centred around service, duty and stoicism. After a few months it began to become apparent that she wanted the wealth, status and fame of being a Royal but she didn’t want to put the hard work in and accept the sacrifices that she had to make on what she could do and when she could do it in order to serve the people of Britain and the Commonwealth.
And she dragged Harry along with her, and then started slating the monarchy itself and gave the impression that she thought the monarchy needed to be ‘reformed’ so that she could live the life she wanted to do and not the life she was expected to as the quid pro quo of being a Royal with expectations as opposed to just another self-indulgent, vacuous celebrity rock or movie star.
If true the grifter is just trying to turn him even harder left than he already is.
