Three armed men attempted a home invasion of a residence in Texas. However, two of the home invaders never made it off the property because a 17-year-old blasted the alleged burglars with a shotgun.
Three armed men wearing masks broke into a home in east Harris County around 10:40 p.m. on Friday, police said. Inside the home were an adult female, a 12-year-old boy, and two 17-year-old males. One of the 17-year-old reacted to the break-in by grabbing a shotgun.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the 17-year-old fired several times and struck two of the suspects who allegedly broke into the home in Channelview – a suburb east of Houston.
Police found the two men unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds at the home. The two suspects were pronounced dead at the crime scene by emergency management personnel, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.
The third suspect fled the home and drove away in a dark-colored four-door sedan.
None of the people already in the home were harmed.
The identities of the shooter, the deceased suspects, or the man who got away have yet to be revealed by authorities.

“Masked invaders”
“Alleged”
“Allegedly broke in.”
No he doesn't.
Is any mention made of drugs in the article or by the police?
Nope.
So why bring that up? Three armed robber invade a home with intent to do serious harm deserve to get shot.
Why be such a jerk?
Ask yourself that question.
Dude...
What did you do with the 28-inch barrel?
I’m a goose hunter.
As a duck hunter I chose an Ithaca 16 gage for doves.
Recently I learned the Ithaca was used by many police forces. I sawed the barrel off at 20 “ to mimic the police issue weapons. At the close range intended for defense, the weapon is superb
I no longer go into the field but my 12 ga High Standard 36” barrel gives me range
I love happy endings...
Keeping it for skeet and clays. It took less than five minutes to swap out barrels.
High Standard is the MFR?
36 inches gives me a few more swatting yards.
Have to buy a new gun case, tho.
Yes High Standard. It is too long for my gun case
The shotgun is at least 50 years old, circa 1961. I took it with me to college for duck hunting. I kept it in the dorm one year as did several others
I need to sell it but am too lazy to go to a gunshow
You either have to be profoundly stupid, suicidal or both.
The bad guy has been embolden by the actions of the local prosecutors and police. In many states, It would seem, the good guys get prosecuted before the bad guys..
Everything seems to be upside down in our nation nowadays. Good is bad, right is wrong and anything goes at the schoolhouse.. This latest bunch of kids coming out of the public school system will probably kill and eat us..
Well shut my mouth... “:^)
Thanks...
It does.
