Let’s not get into a communion debate regarding the mechanism.
Trans-substantiation does not alter the Verba “Take...this IS my...”.
Nor what is received.
Lutherans use the term con-substantiation.
So what?
It is still body-bread, wine-blood as received by the penitent.
Now, iffen y’all want to argue that the term “Eucharist” intends the Sacrament of the Altar...I’m your huckleberry.

transubstantiation where the bread and the wine actually being christ flesh and blood. Though that didn't come about until Pope Innocent III in April 1213 and formulation in the teaching of Thomas Aquinas.
