I’d love to see who’s writing those checks.

Almost all (96%) of DeSantis’ money is coming from multinational corporations, hedge funds, Wall Street firms and billionaires …. IOW, the puppet masters who will demand a return on their investment.

He’s done a great job in Florida. But, given the fact that the ultimate BabaYaga, Pres Trump, still dominates the Left, he flies under the radar. He has an electorate that supports him. He has a Republican controlled legislature that supports him. He can do what he wants.

If/when Pres Trump is gone, regardless of how that happens, all guns are turned to him. Time will tell if he can withstand the onslaught that awaits him.

PDJT is speaking at his rally in Ohio. It is very good, very entertaining, and carried on NEWSMAX.

DeSantis will need every penny. Long lines of dems plan to sue him for any and every reason.

Unfortunately for DeSantis there’s no good way to retreat from the 2024 strategy his handlers and donors have mapped out. They have pushed him ‘all-in.’ I don’t think it’s possible for DeSantis Inc to back-down after accepting all that GOPe money, unless there is a way for them to return or redirect it.

I wasn't aware of a time limit on the use of those funds? Can't DeSantis save it for a 2028 run?

"Almost all (96%) of DeSantis’ money is coming from multinational corporations, hedge funds, Wall Street firms and billionaires"

If that is true then they're trying to create a false dichotomy? If it's not true. Dems are setting up a pattern for when Trump is unable to run?

I like Ron DeSantis, but in my opinion, he should wait for 2028. I want President Trump as the Republican nominee in 2024. However, if DeSantis would beat President Trump in a primary election, I would vote for him in 2024.

DeSantis should be Trumps running mate in “24, then run for President in “28.

Let's fast forward to 2024, shall we?

1. GOP Debates

2. Primary elections for GOP nom.

I suspect that Gov DeSantis will win, then go on to WIN.

That said, I'll support and vote for whomever wins the GOP nod, with no complaints or whining.

“I’d love to see who’s writing those checks.”

I live in Florida and my wife and I are active in republican circles in our state. The answer to your question is, in good measure(but not exclusively) Never-Trumpers. Yeb! donors eager to get revenge for Trump’s surprise excursion into republican politics. Many of these donors are very eager to get back to the Status Quo, and despise Donald Trump’s transition from Donor to Politician.
They are not especially fond of Desantis but, intend to use him as a vehicle to stop President Trump.
We have communicated to the governor’s people that it is highly unusual for a 1st term republican governor to amass such a sum of money and that that money for a political novice such as governor Desantis comes with many strings attached.
Many of us have made these observations known to the governor and told his people that challenging President Trump in a primary may accomplish two things.
Harm President Trump and destroy Desantis’ future as President Trump’s supporters will view Desantis as a Judas.

I would like to see DeSantis run for President. But, I will first evaluate how well he and his party does in the Florida races of the November 2022 election. If DeSantis loses to Crist then the GOP would be foolish to have him be their nominee for President. We also need to see if DeSantis has coattails for Marco Rubio. Failure to win that race will help keep Schumer in charge of rubberstamping Biden’s appointments & that’s something that needs to change. So, I will be watching the Florida results closely first as I analyze DeSantis.

Now about Trump .... he first ran when the National Debt was trillions lower. What did he, McConnell, Ryan, and others do about that? They failed. We desperately need successful leaders.

Will Donald Trump Jr. run for POTUS, sometime in the future? A successful four more years of Donald Trump Sr. might encourage it, despite the expected criticism of another Trump running.

Desantis doesn’t seem like the type that would commit poitical suicide by running against DJ Trump.

The dems are scared and trying to split the unbeatable Trump/DeSantis 2024 ticket.

“I wouldn’t advise him to go head to head with Trump,” Thomas told Insider. “It’s not gonna go well for DeSantis.”

Agree but as a team they would be mega MAGA 4 years for Trump 8 years for DeSantis.

The democrat party greatest fear their party is about dead only thing left for it is the drop.
