After decades of dealing with them. Donating to them. He finally said, enough! I need to get personally involved.
And, this, upset the apple cart like nothing in the History of American Politics.

Pretty much nailed it with this comment.

To think that he upset the apple cart enough that they all conspire to get rid of him. We can only imagine what he had planned for them in term 2.

God help them if he’s back in 2025.

Dems are setting up a pattern for when Trump is unable to run?

What could possibly happen to make Trump "unable to run"?

I would like to see DeSantis run for President. But, I will first evaluate how well he and his party does in the Florida races of the November 2022 election. If DeSantis loses to Crist then the GOP would be foolish to have him be their nominee for President. We also need to see if DeSantis has coattails for Marco Rubio. Failure to win that race will help keep Schumer in charge of rubberstamping Biden’s appointments & that’s something that needs to change. So, I will be watching the Florida results closely first as I analyze DeSantis.

Now about Trump .... he first ran when the National Debt was trillions lower. What did he, McConnell, Ryan, and others do about that? They failed. We desperately need successful leaders.

What is Minke thinking? During the primaries Trump would tear Mike & DeSantis to shreds. Literal bloodbath. What could they say worse about Trump than has already been said by Democrats and media? They will be viewed as democrat sympathizers by using same talking points and piling on Trump. Either that or deep state has whispered in their ears that hell or high water Trump will not be able to run, you know what that means

I’m not comparing them, I am just stating facts. DeSantis, with twice as many years in political positions compared to Trump, can’t be called a political novice.

Why do facts anger you?

Well than Trump is the political novice of all times, if you are using the correct definition of novice.

Your ‘facts’ don’t anger me.

Being a junior member of the House, for me, isn’t all that much. Being one person out of 435, where all you’re doing is voting the party line doesn’t move the meter for me.

Using that analysis, in 2 or 3 more years AOC and Omar will be wholly qualified for the White House.

As another commenter stated, then Donald Trump had been dealing with all of these people for decades. Long before DeSantis showed up. They came to kiss his ring and beg for money.

He was not a novice.

Has the debt increased be used the corrupt SOBs in Congress have developed the ultimate scam……Continuing Resolutions and then screaming from the rooftops that babies will start dying if it isn’t passed.

Didn’t Pres Trump ask Congress to come up with a budget, he was ignored and they dropped another CR on his desk.

The man was on defense from Day One. He wanted cuts and McConnell and Ryan wouldn’t back him

Will Donald Trump Jr. run for POTUS, sometime in the future? A successful four more years of Donald Trump Sr. might encourage it, despite the expected criticism of another Trump running.

“Well than Trump is the political novice of all times, if you are using the correct definition of novice.”
The correct phrases are, “of all time” and, “well then” not well than.
The answer to your premise is, Yes and No. Yes, he has less in the seat time in actual office but, he has DECADES more actual experience in dealing with politicians on a practical level due to the nature of his business.

All that you say doesn't change the fact that Ron DeSantis is NOT a political novice. That is the main point I was trying to make several posts back.

Dealing with politicians as a businessman still didn't prepare Trump for the vile backstabbing nature of his political opponents. Swampy DC politicians loved him for decades when he was giving them donations and developed amnesia once he got to Washington.

Desantis doesn’t seem like the type that would commit poitical suicide by running against DJ Trump.

Trump was a novice to the swamp and the deep state. It took Trump a while to realize the Dem politicians, that he donated to for years, were lapping up the screwing that the DOJ and FBI were subjecting Trump to.

He was a great President in so many ways but naive to the power of the unelected DC bureaucracy to kneecap a President.

"What could possibly happen to make Trump "unable to run"?"

They keep throwing fake crimes at Trump something might stick. This seems to be the FBI's plan.
