He could’ve vetoed. No excuse for approving deficit spending ever.

Yup. Trump can finish his wall, drain the swamp, fire thousands of DC bureaucrats, coach DeSantis on DC shenanigans and foreign affairs and prepare him for 2028.

This is the only recipe to save America.

And then get destroyed by everyone for shutting down the government.

He was playing the game that they set up and had been using for over 8 years. The last budget was during the Bush Jr administration.

Everyone thinks the guy could have just gone in there, spread some fairy dust and all would be right.

Republicans: We’re gonna get rid of Obamacare, we promise. Elect us. Until we don’t. We’re gonna draft and pass budgets, until we don’t.

McConnell stabbed him in the back from Day 1

That would be a helluva a ticket but I don’t think DeSantis is willing to play second fiddle. Not with that kind of money lined up behind him.

If Kari Lake wins and lives up to her growing reputation, a debate between her and Harris would be like bring lambs(Harris) to the Wolf(Lake).

Republicans hurt him more than any Democrat.

McConnell and Ryan stabbed him in the back as soon as he moved into the White House. No worse enemy then someone you think is a friend. All they did was lie to the man.

The same way that Fauci and Birx did, the people be damned.

As for being naive, I agree there was some. Naive in thinking that there were that many people entrenched that were only in it for themselves and the Deep State.

However, if McConnell, et al, we’re truly for the people they would have helped him navigate and destroy it. Instead they emboldened the Deep State.

So many wanted Pres Trump to do EVERYTHING. He was one man against, THE WORLD.

It's gonna be a great ride!

To this day, so many still want politicians. Ones that can make friends and work with people that have fragile egos.

Not me.

Again, DeSantis, not his family, has not been treated like Pres Trump and his have, in any way shape or form. And the Trumps are still standing.

If DeSantis loses to Crist then the GOP would be foolish to have him be their nominee for President.

If DeSantis loses to Crist, he's finished as a politician.

I would also add that DeSantis losing his re-election, --and we'll know if this happens quite early as Florida counts their votes quickly, would be the harbinger of a massive GOP midterm catastrophe across the board.

If Crist wins, then so does Abrams, and everyone else with a (D) after their name.

Time will tell.

I take it, with all that money DeSantis is taking in and where it’s coming from, you don’t think it matters.

Wall St and the Hedge Fund CEOs and Managers are just going to donate all of that and not expect anything in return.

Hell, 50 illegal aliens deported from Martha’s Vineyard has already disappeared from the news cycle.

So, what are the things that he will do, that Pres Trump just tweeted about?

Oh…..flying 50 illegals to the Vineyard?

Pres Trump, working alone, figured out a way to start sealing the border and reducing illegal immigration to some of the lowest numbers ever. And with zero help from republicans in congress.

My thought when he was riding down the elevator in Trump Tower the day of the announcement was *I’m going to vote for him, but I hope he realizes the powers that be will Palinize him ten times over.*

And they sure did.

“I wouldn’t advise him to go head to head with Trump,” Thomas told Insider. “It’s not gonna go well for DeSantis.”

Agree but as a team they would be mega MAGA 4 years for Trump 8 years for DeSantis.

The democrat party greatest fear their party is about dead only thing left for it is the drop.

Can’t argue that.

For the first time in history, I’d imagine, you could have one, DeSantis, adeptly handling domestic affairs and the other, Pres Trump, dealing with international stuff.

They would certainly have the ability to crush the competition.

They did exactly that. And continue to do so.

Yet, he’s still standing. Still has the support and then some.

Which is why he’s getting my vote. He still has some work to do and he’s the only one willing to do it.

The money trail for DeSantis does not give me a warn and fuzzy. It shouldn’t to anyone.
