Thatās funny. Iāve always driven a stick - at the Sunoco where I get my car inspected the DOJ of the owner is their mechanic - he seems very competent and is a nice guy, but amazingly he canāt drive a stick.
I found this out a couple years ago when I dropped my car off without a ride home and he offered yo drive me - until he remembered it was a stick.
Amazing that someone could be in that line of work and not drive a stick.

That happened to a grandmother in the 70s in a Cadillac.
The doors would not open and the horn did not function either.
Took quite a while for Grandpa to go find out what happened to her.
Is it possible the man canāt get into his Tesla because the battery is dead and not because he is locked out by the company?

If you jump the accessory battery, you get accessory power. If the main batteries are dead, you can’t charge them sufficiently to run the car from a jump battery. I’m still trying to make sense of the value of jumping an EV.

When the guys delivered our Sleepnumber bed a couple years ago, one of them asked for our Internet password so they could connect it to the Internet. (Nope.)
Those of us with the skills to do so segregate our IoT devices from the rest of our network. I have a half dozen VLANs in my network with a number of firewalls to prevent those devices from doing anything but go to the Internet, and they go through a VPN and proxy to prevent endpoint identification. Devices that don’t work in those configurations don’t stay on my network.
Unfortunately most consumers don’t have the skills or equipment to do this, so they blindly connect their Alexas, Google Homes, Nest thermostats, Roomba vacuums, digital door locks, IoT lights, sensors, and everything else to the same flat network where they can interact with laptops and PCs to build information on everything from the layout of your home to when you’re sleeping.
I was just speaking to having a bed with Internet, which seems ridiculous. They try to tell you it could SAVE YOUR LIFE by monitoring your vital signs or something. Uh uh. Nope. Not gonna happen.
We have no Alexis, Google Homes (whatever that is), Nest thermostats, Roomba, digital locks IoT lights (whatever they are), sensors, etc. When I learned that Roomba could map the floorplan of a house ... yikes!

Not defending TG or EVs, but people should read their owner's manuals and do simple internet searches on basic maintenance and troubleshooting, regardless of vehicle.
I myself wouldn't buy an EV right now. Maybe in 30 years if the laws of physics magically changes or unobtanium becomes widely available.

He has raised phenomenal sums of capital, hired the best engineers available, allowed them to develop products and totally new and radical manufacturing methods. His motive is the same as Henry Ford or John D Rockefeller or Andrew Carnage who disrupted the business status quo.
