After winking at QAnon for years, Donald Trump is overtly embracing the baseless conspiracy theory, even as the number of frightening real-world events linked to it grows.
On Tuesday, using his Truth Social platform, the Republican former president reposted an image of himself wearing a Q lapel pin overlaid with the words “The Storm is Coming.” In QAnon lore, the “storm” refers to Trump’s final victory, when supposedly he will regain power and his opponents will be tried, and potentially executed, on live television.
As Trump contemplates another run for the presidency and has become increasingly assertive in the Republican primary process during the midterm elections, his actions show that far from distancing himself from the political fringe, he is welcoming it.
He’s published dozens of recent Q-related posts, in contrast to 2020, when he claimed that while he didn’t know much about QAnon, he couldn’t disprove its conspiracy theory.

And you care deeply about what lefties do or think why...?
New Headline:
AP embraces communism, Amplifies fall of nation.
Q-Anon is nothing but useless stuff like flat earth.
I think Q was cooked up by the CIA/FBI to cover for Trump saying in public “this is the calm before the storm” in 2017.
We are now IN THE STORM... and it has nothing to do with Trump.
Who said I cared deeply? I could care less what lefties think. We do need to keep an eye on what they do, and we we do quite a lot of that on FR. Any general or political campaign manager worth his salt recognizes the old maxim “know your enemy”.
Trump’s base will overlook just about anything. Trouble is, we need more than just the base to win elections. If Trump appears to be pandering to Q followers, it will turn off more moderate Republicans and, of course, Independents. The Democrats know this. Biden is a disaster. Their policies are disastrous. Stuff like this is all they got. Sadly, it can work to suppress voter turnout among unenthused Republicans and Independents.
He’s not but he digs adulation, even from retards.
There is no Qanon...
there is Q
and there is the anons...
lots of people trying to confuse a lot of people.
believe what you want. the storm is coming. so is winter.
Isn’t QAnon just a non-existent idea??
Asspress is here with their “Biden is beloved” polls and stories.
I think we will have to disagree.
If you polled moderate repubs and independents as to their top 15 issues in choosing who to vote for... I don't believe Q wouldn't appear on the list.
Throw in running against Biden or Michelle or Hillary or whoever...
Whatever it is, Q, Qanon, whatever. It’s trash that never comes to pass. It’s a bunch of gibberish and nonsense.
Speaking of baseless conspiracy theory. and potentially executed, on live television.
Do folks who post on 8Kun call themselves Anons?
Did Q post on 8Kun?
That makes her Qanon.
QAnon is most likely an FBI concocted trap for those dumb enough to believe in it. It also creates another MAGA boogeyman to use in justifying this new police state.
it isn’t predictions... it is to get people thinking.
let that sink in.
I think most don’t even know what Q is right now, but the Dems might make sure they find out. I agree it wouldn’t be on the top of anyone’s list.
Sadly, though, voters don’t all always act rationally. There are lots of voters who would embarrassed or uncomfortable voting for someone who panders to Q followers. Some of these people are less likely to get out and vote. It’s one of the reasons negative campaign ads work. Not nice, not necessarily rational, but it is what it is. Anyone who has worked in or closely with a campaign committee knows this.
And the Dems are targeting the midterms and planning to use this against Trump-endorsed candidates this year. So in this case, we’re not talking about running against “Biden or Michelle or Hillary or whoever”.
Nearly everyone on FR is part of Trump’s base. We need to remember we are in something of a bubble here. I live in a very red precinct in a red state. Yet a number of people I know here in RL who were super Trump supporters and voted for him twice are starting to sour on him. Some were disturbed by Jan6 and thought it bad judgment on his part. Some are tired of him talking about 2020 and want him to address the now more and what he would do if elected again instead. If they find put what Q is, or already know, and think he’s pandering to Q followers, that will leave a bad taste in their mouths, too. Drip, drip, drip.
These are people who watch Fox News, not Steve Bannon. Also watch local news. They loved Trump’s platform. Freepers might not be bothered by any of this stuff, but this segment of Republican voters are. They may well still go out and vote. Others like them may find it harder to get up off the sofa.
How much less?
Thank you for an excellent post! Thank God for FR, but it is delusional to think we here reflect the vast majority and others can be ignored.
According to Anon’s it’s happened to Hillary, Soros and others. What you see are holograms or clones.
Have you been on Truth Social, The Great Awakening et al? This is mild by comparison to what the could report.
