What’s next?
Basically, the war is lost.
If you look at all of the objectives that Putin set for the war, all of them have failed. All of them. So, continuing the war is the only way for Putin to stay in power. He wants to create extra chaos in the free world hoping that a new window will open for him. It’s really just a protracted agony. It is cynical and stupid, but Putin is willing to put thousands of civilians into graves in the months to come before the whole of Ukraine is liberated, if that will allow him to maintain power...
Putin has never dealt with situations like this one. This crisis is different for him.
Putin’s been lucky that he has always been able to escape. His opponents always folded their cards instead of calling his bluff. I think we’re now at the point in history where even the very mediocre leadership of the free world realized that we had no other choice but to call Putin’s bluff.
I think that Putin realizes his tricks won’t work as they did before. That’s why we aren’t hearing the same bold threats, the brazen threats, from Putin’s generals or Putin’s entourage who were formally saying “we will use whatever weapons,” etc. They seem to be finding a middle ground: Not to drop threats all together, because they understand that If NATO is dragged in, then it would be a disaster for them.

Chess has-beens.
Is there anything they don’t know?
Kasparov talking of Putin causing ‘caos in the FREE world’, in a Ukrainian newspaper?
The last time I checked, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, suspended freedom of the press, closing numerous news sources and controlling the rest. Where’s this ‘free world’ that he speaks of?
Putin lost the moment Zelenskyy said I need ammo not a ride.
Putin was humiliated when his puppet ran away in 2014. Putin wanted badly to even the score. But Zelenskyy was determined to fight.
If zeepuppet wanted to fight he’d be at the front fighting. There are other puppets in the wef’s warehouse ready to step in pronto. It pays good I hear.
Chess can get caught up in politics. Examples include: Fischer’s match against Spassky, (Soviet defector) Korchnoi’s match against Karpov, Ficher’s return match with Spassky, political influence in the Soviet Union, Alekhine in Germany during World War 2.
Chess players can choose to get caught up with politics. Fischer’s animus towards Jews was embarrassing to say the least. Kasparov has always had a thing against Putin. I sympathize. Kasparov likened Trump to Putin. I object.
Chess geniuses are not universal geniuses. I think the same applies to geniuses in mathematics, physics, or anything else. I reject the idea of universal geniuses.
Evaluate Kasparov’s words on their own merit. Agree or disagree. Please do not pass them off as the ideas of anyone who is a genius about anything than chess.
That makes sense because Putin is in the frontline fighting.
So you are saying “shut up and Castle”?
Ukraine has requested an operational media blackout and talking heads have to kill time, so I suspect a Mila Kunis interview asking her about her take on the Kharkiv offensive in the next couple days.
“The last time I checked, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, suspended freedom of the press...”
Like Russia did decades ago?
“So you are saying “shut up and Castle”?”
Not exactly. He has a right to an opinion. That he can beat me at chess with his eyes closed, has no bearing on the quality of his opinion on politics.
“If zeepuppet wanted to fight he’d be at the front fighting.”
This isn’t the Napoleonic era, in case you hadn’t noticed.
Zeepuppet is younger and healthier. And Putin is old and on his deathbed, according to so many witnesses.
If russia holds regions with strong local russian ties, then isn’t that better than the US shoving native Americans into small areas.
Not. Our. Fight.
Poor old Putin.
A younger Putin could have won.
I am sure Mexicans like your ideas.
Hope you don’t live in the Southwest.
We. Are. Not. Fighting.
**We. Are. Not. Fighting.**
This forum has ripped Obozo-Holder for funneling weapons to mehheeco; (a scheme to weaken the USA). Have we no people at all involved militarily in this battle of eastern europe? (also a scheme to weaken the USA)
I can give up waiting for you to make an intelligent reply.

As an OTR trucker, I’ve met several OTR native American drivers. They say the reservations should have been temporary at most. They point out that once they learned english, many were eager to join the modern world of the industrial revolution. One I met at a Flying J told me he was a third gen driver, and fourth to not live on a reservation.
Met a Puerto Rico/African American driver that said Puerto Rico was just a pretty guvmint subsidised reservation. He moved to Alabama and started driving trucks. He’s had a couple of friends do the same. He said, “Take away the subsidizing, and people with go to where the work is. I just wanted to control my life”.
“If zeepuppet wanted to fight he’d be at the front fighting.”
I don’t remember Roosevelt spending a lot of time at the front.

That’s nice, how very ‘Christian’ of you!
You are the one so bloodthirsty you are pushing the Leader of a country into the front line, Christian.
The wheelchair was rather awkward, wouldn’t you say?
Sorry, but when I look at zeepuppet I see wef, soroz, obiden, and list goes on and on,... and none than love the USA. Russia doesn’t love the USA either.
We are the losers, especially our children and grandchildren. The anti-American groups in this country support that war. What else do we need for proof?
