A group of armed thugs slashed a 30-year-old tourist from Belgium in the face Saturday morning in an unprovoked attack at a Chelsea subway station, police said.
The four or five assailants set upon the victim as she walked down the southbound staircase with a group of companions at 8:43 a.m. at the A/C/E station at West 23rd street and Eighth Avenue, police said.
The attackers approached her and cut her face, leaving her with a wound that was treated at the scene, the NYPD said.
The victim was seen talking to police after the attack with a bandage on the side of her face and neck.
“It was like a family of tourists. You could just tell they weren’t from around here. Maybe European. They were speaking English, but with an accent,” said one woman who saw the victim.

He’s also better equipped to lead the fightback against the other issues afflicting this great city post-pandemic: Get businesses reopened, get commuters and tourists back . . . and keep them back.”
So, how is that going, New York Post?
We just spoke to people visiting here (PA) from California for a wedding. We told them how NYC is dangerous. They were shocked to hear it. The media must be keeping it a secret.
They had that line on some cop show, maybe it was Bluebloods. Other detective said "You don't get out much."
Now if they don't dress like everybody else their peers assume they are nuns.

No bail, now bail, prison release program, evidence withheld from jury and above all don’t stop, question and frisk or get sued.
