A leading Catholic scholar claimed that alleged alien abductions stories have parallels with people who say they have encountered demons.
Theologian Dr Paul Thigpen went on to add that aliens are in fact more than likely " demons ".
He also said that the US government know more than they publicly state in relation to UAPs ('Unexplained Aerial Phenomena' - a US military term for UFOs ).
Dr Thigpen told the National Catholic Register: “With UAP we may actually be dealing with extraordinary phenomena of various origins despite similar characteristics.
“Extra-terrestrial hypothesis – the notion that we are encountering non-human intelligences from locations in this universe beyond Earth - best accounts for many UAP.
“The diabolical hypothesis – that they are demons – best accounts for some UAP reports, especially some of the so-called alien abductions’ that demonstrate clear parallels with what the Church knows as demonic encounters.”
These comments come after the US government last year reported on 144 UFO sightings by military pilots since 2004, with only one being explained away as a balloon and the rest "largely inconclusive".

An invisible war wages all around us.
If we could actually see it surely we’d go mad, so the demons hold back just enough to be tolerable yet they desire to deceive us all.
Their greatest power is hiding what they truly are and the fact that they exist.

One of the quotes of Keel I remember from later in his life is that he didn’t consider himself as much a Ufologist or Cryptozoologist as much as he considered himself a Demonologist, since he had come to the conclusion that there was some intelligence behind all these weird things, and it was not friendly to humankind.

Our heavy-duty physics has been with us less than 100 years. What if a distant civilization didn’t experience a Dark Ages? That would give them 1200 years more than we have had.
The demons on this planet inhabit the leadership of Western civilization. The “saucer folks” aren’t really doing anything at all to harm us (at large) or destroy our civilization.
What if said civilization had a 100 million year head start? If they had developed AI, means of programming DNA and Von Neumann type machines traveling at subliminal speeds (no need for fancy new physics), they could have already colonized half the galaxy. Used their home world DNA and combined it what the local fauna so as to make it compatible with whatever life bearing planet they came across.
Maybe they/we already did.
