Cleotha Abston-Henderson, 38, has been charged with first-degree murder in relation to mother-of-two Eliza Fletcher
He is accused of kidnapping her as she was out jogging at 4.30am on Friday and 'violently' bundled her into his SUV Authorities announced on Tuesday that Fletcher's body had been found by an abandoned house after an exhaustive search
Abston-Henderson was previously jailed for 22 years after kidnapping a lawyer in Memphis in 2000, driving him around at gunpoint
Records show that he was previously arrested for raping a man and several assaults before he turned 16, and was first in juvenille court aged just 11

What is surprising is the local DA seems to coming down hard on Cleotha, despite running on a bail reform (no bail granted in this case) and "restorative justice".
This guy cannot be rehabilitated. He raped a man as a juvenile. He scared women in his neighborhood by sneaking up on them, sometimes asking sex in exchange for money. Women who knew him said they tried their best to avoid him.
His uncle said his whole side of the family was nuts.
Might not be a bad idea to have your daughters learn to shoot a pistol or revolver, then get their concealed carry license when they turn 18.
BLM riots to start in 3...2..1...
“Might not be a bad idea to have your daughters learn to shoot a pistol or revolver, then get their concealed carry license when they turn 18. “
ESPECIALLY in violent cities like Memphis ...
Cleo liked the dudes as well.
BRING IT!
And die!
Still wondering why the vic was out jogging alone at 4:30 in the morning...
If she really was out jogging.
And why, after the husband called three hours later to report her missing, LE jumped into action after only three hours has passed for a healthy, able-bodied, competent woman.
BLM isn’t that badly led. They are not going to put their “goodwill” on the line for the like of Cleotha Abston.
She was running nut. Apparently this was a regular thing for her.
Good!
Now, how ‘bout the 486 criminal homicide victims so far this year in Chicongo?
She was a thoroughly dedicated exercise and sports fan. Not surprising to go jogging at that cool hour of the morning.
Exactly. People get addicted to the endorphins released from running.
Interesting how the death penalty is so fought against until the victim is one of the rich and elite class.
It’s always who you know.
She qualified for the Boston Marathon and had been a runner ever since high school.
She ran in almost every local race imaginable.
As to the time of night (it’s not morning, I got up at 5 am yesterday and it was dark as night) she was a school teacher with two small children.
My guess is she would pick the kids up after she finished teaching school, take care of them and wait for her husband to get home. Then there was not time to run after that (remember she ran long distances, she was on at least a 10 mile run the night she was kidnapped, likely more, that’s probably why her husband didn’t think it strange for her to be out so long).
At first the police seemed to investigate the husband; they took garden shears and an SUV from his residence.
But it looks like Cleotha acted alone, video shows him alone. He had fentanyl and heroin in his car. IDK but he might have been out selling it all night long. His brother got nailed for guns, fentanyl and heroin when they searched his residence.
LE didn’t say they had video footage of the incident at first. They made it sound like they only had the image of a car. But they had a lot more, probably didn’t say initially so Cleotha wouldn’t high tail it out of town.
You do realize that they actually have security camera footage of her jogging, right?
He’s 38.. he’ll die of old age before he’s executed.
If his throat is not cut by other tougher prisoners who are not young women.
