A Mountain Home woman who refused to leave her parent’s home because they would not give her gas money, and who later assaulted a law enforcement official, has been arrested on several charges including terroristic threatening and second degree battery on a correctional officer.
According to the probable cause affidavit and incident report, 34-year-old Kendra Wells was arrested Friday when she was upset at her mother when she would not help with child custody and gas money. Her parents stated they did not want her at their residence and when Wells refused to leave, she started screaming at her mother and the police. The officers then opened the door to escort Wells out of her car and she was placed in handcuffs. Wells began to resist arrest and spat in the officer’s face while screaming.
While en route to jail, Wells made threatening statements and obscenities towards the officer. Wells stated she would kill him in his sleep and if she saw him in town, would run him over. She continued to say when she got to the jail she would tell them she was suicidal so she would be taken to the hospital and have a nice bed to sleep in. The officer did inform the jail staff of her comments before leaving her at the Baxter County Detention Center.
When the jailer was standing at the booking area, Wells said ‘get me a pad now, you fat cow,’ unprovoked. The jailer stated Wells had made several comments about staffs’ weights and competency. She continued to demand that the jailer get her clothes, as she was going home and her parents were in the lobby. The jailer told her that she would have her clothes back closer to her release time. Wells told the jailer that her parents have money and she was going to sue. Wells continued to make demands for new pants and saying hateful comments to the jail staff.
The jailer then asked Wells to stand back away from the door so she could open it and hand her the new pair of uniform pants. As the jailer opened the door, Wells charged out of her cell, trying to get past, but was unsuccessful. Wells then took her nails and clawed at the side of the jailer’s face. Another jailer came to assist and get Wells back into her cell.
The injured jailer was taken to Baxter Health for treatment and was released.
Wells’ bond is set at $10,000.
Unless the Lord gets ahold of her and she gets Born Again, I wouldn’t give a nickel for her future. If she lives that long she’ll still be a brat at 50.

Wish we had more details on this, that was probably the best part.

I have a close relative who still acts like that at 61. I won’t have anything to do with her, and haven’t for quite a few years.
No one should go through life hating him/herself this much. Whoever’s fault it is that she’s in this shape, she is the only person who can fix it. I hope some jail time gives her a chance to detox, find religion, and rebuild herself.
