EV runs out of juice, pushed by coal miners
DC tourist ran out of battery in the middle of a remote West Virginia road on Friday, near a coal mine on Mettiki Coal access road U.S. 48, a few miles outside of Davis, according to WTRF.
From FaceBook:
Randy Smith on Friday Some days are just better than others. Today at our mine off Corridor H an electric car from DC ran out of battery at the road entrance to the mine. Someone called one of our foreman and told him a car was broke down in the middle of our haul road. He went to investigate and found out they had indeed ran out of juice coming from DC to Davis for a get away weekend. He then went back to the mine and got guys to push the car to the guard shack so they could plug in to charge. ... See more
Is that the same floof as yesterday? It sure is cute!
I listened to an uplifting talk, and now, I do believe it’s about time for a little nap.
I’ll be back!
Thanks! I seem to have lost more sleep since I’ve been here than I’ve actually found.
Like I said, I’ll be back!
Good Morning!
You have such a nice, symmetrical solution today, ‘Face...
Mine isn’t as nice looking, but still a four...

Good morning. Happy Monday.
Still chilly here. It was rainy yesterday and should be rainy today. I guess it’s because of that hurricane that went up the coast.
Yesterday I struggled to get 5, but then was embarrassed when I saw the word. Today was a bit better.

Good morning!
LOL!
I didn’t even think about it, but you’re right and you’re funny! :o])
Good job!
Good morning.
Yeah, yesterday was weird, but you did a good job today.
It rained yesterday morning for about 45 minutes, then dried out.
Overcast so far today, but the foregnosticators say it’s going to be sunny all week.
It will be sunny until Ira starts sending weather your way.
I can handle rain. I do NOT like tornados. Last winter was too close for comfort.
Different one, same breeder.
I’m back from the physical therapist, suitably pummeled, prodded, and stretched.
Happy Monday. It seems that Sally dropped by while I was at the physical therapist, leaving some postcards from Delaware. Life is weird.
Since there isn’t much reason to visit Delaware, it is odd to think there are postcards.
People go to Delaware because it’s between where they are and where they want to be. Kathleen reported that Sally said the rest stop on the Interstate, named for good ol’ Joe Biden, is very nice.
One postcard has the State Capitol on it, and the other has crabs.
Ah. Thanks.
Do you feel better, now that you’ve had your workout? So-to-speak? I really wanted a cat... Maybe I’ll find one before, but I’m wondering if I should wait a bit.
I just stuck a caletter in the outgoing mailbox, so maybe it will find its way to its destination in the southeast by Thursday. I also had to mail a birthday card to my sister-in-law, at the Front Range, whose birthday is Thursday. Cutting it close! I usually send them earlier, but mailing it Saturday might have it lying around the house too long.
That was funny, that was! Sorry but my brain is looking for an escape hatch!
Good morning! I hope everyone is well.
I got a ride on the four-train.

I used to drive through a little piece of it going between Philly and the DC area during my college days.
And I went with friends to Rehoboth Beach a couple of times back then. My boyfriend got in a fender-bender on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge when we were going there once. It didn’t slow us down much. We exchanged insurance information and headed to the beach.
Joe Biden has crabs?
Oh, nevermind, I get it.
Good job!
Yours is rather symmetrical, too!
Good to see you back, though I hope your visit was enjoyable.
Vlad mailed some Magic cards today. I helped him weigh them and calculate extra postage.
I have a little ache in my hip, but nothing too bad. I had a nap. I think Jake is with James.
Next, I need to make supper.
I talked about losing weight this morning, and this afternoon I porked out on a couple of Pillsbury Grands. Oh my bad self. It’s been so long since I had one...I really shouldn’t have bought them, but I figured, “why not?” It’s good for things that depress one. Maybe I’ll give the rest to Mona so I’m not tempted again.
