I watched Trudeau’s speech from the hospital room cited in Malone paper above — I swear his speaking style, subject matter and hand gestures are Identical to our Gov. Newsome. Really — watch it and substitute those sweeping hand gestures into a Newsome spiel — fits like a puzzle piece — same school imo.

Another tidbit:
I had the opportunity to meet and chat informally with Prince Charles several years ago. He was touring The Chelsea Garden Show during the show set up. Our friends were exhibitors and my husband I were along to schlep for them. Prince Charles just happened to come strolling by our friends’ entry.
He was accompanied by 2 Bobbies and a couple of other plainclothes security-men. He spent about 10 minutes chatting with our 2 friends, my husband and myself.
He was charming and very friendly. I am sure he has been trained to be that way in these types of situations. But, he was quite welcoming and was interested in us being from the US: The first US exhibitors at Chelsea in quite some time. He was interested to hear from these US citizens and our involvement in the UK Chelsea Garden Show.
On another day at the Garden Show our friends also met the Queen Mother. We did not. They only had 2 tickets for the opening Gala. So, my husband and I were only allowed on the property after the Royals had departed.
I am sure there are many sides to the Royals and many stories to tell. Our experience was a very good one.
We have been to Chelsea schlepping for our friends 3 different years. This was the only year we got to interact with the Royals.
