Yeah, you’d need a cooler and some dry ice to have a chance with fish.

As with so many stores it depends on the one you go to

Have had all kinds of experiences at Walmart, target, and Costco

I’m with you on that. Pumpkin pie for me. Cheese danish. When my husband passed away ten years ago, and the kids were in different places, it was hard to go into Costco anymore. We had some great times at Costco. All our computers, phones, pots and pans, dishes, some furniture, back yard enhancements, etc came from there….plus a slice of pizza or a brat with kraut.
Happy happy moments.

Time keeps flowing like a river….to the sea.

I joined when they opened their first store in Silverdale, WA. Then it was open only to farmers, commercial fishermen, loggers, and others in the trades, no tax was applied to purchases.

Then came the nurses and thing began to change, not for the better. Prices rose without notice; packages got so big, it only paid if you owned a restaurant.

Then they raised the dues past what the money it took to get to their store and buy anything needed. Savings began to amount to a dollar or less over what could be had locally.

Bye - not looked back.

It was called Price Club before Costco.

I am a long time Costco member. A few facts.

They are a far left wing nanny company based in Washington state. They choose their products based on their idea of your health, like getting rid of the polish dogs, deli mustard, onions at the food court.

They have always paid their minimum wage workers far above the minimum wage and merely passed on the additional costs to the customers . All there stuff is mostly china made so don’t expect any stainless steel item not to rust after the one year warranty period.

One great thing, they accept returns forever and without the package . Except electronics and a few other items.

All in all it’s a pretty mixed bag/ you really gotta need what they hve to put up with the hassles, clogged aisles (mainly by the horde of Asian women described in the article) and you have to watch the prices.

Not tyrants as Costco grunts are hardly anything to fear and as their "power" vanished two feet outside the door.

No, they were just common, low IQ bullies invested with a smidgen of power by their irrationally frightened, irretrievably stupid masters ... and I told them just that whenever one the grunts mustered up the courage to approach me during the fauci flu hysteria.

I guess you’re some type of fanboy, but it’s a Chinese asset run by leftist clowns.

I was a member for years, but lapsed after they started dropping most of my favorite products and selling mounds of Chinese garbage and trashy bulk foods.

Yuck.

In SW Tucson, they all speak Spanish and the cars have Mexican plates. Of course, in SW Tucson, pretty much everyone speaks Spanish...

Costco has great booze. One weekend with my buddies pays for the cost of membership. Plus their credit card cash back saves a few percent on everything else. I don’t particularly care for the experience shopping there and I live off grid so I don’t really buy much else.

We like BOTH!!

Costco has high end snacks, nuts, etc.

Sam’s has had EXCELLENT Prime and Angus rib eyes, stew meat and roasts, in the past.

We do NOT care for Costco’s beef....Prime, or, otherwise.

Shouldn't Tuscon be part of New Mexico?

“I have never found an electronics or appliance “bargain” at Costco that was not beat somewhere else.”

I bought my last few TV’s at Costco. Lowest price available, free delivery and setup and a five year warranty.

NOBODY could beat it.

Doesnt say. No matter its a great inexpensive cut that is far better than what you pay.

The issue I have with the Sam’s Club stores in my area is quality control with each location. I used to live in a neighborhood that only had a Sam’s Club, but it was well run.

Ten years ago I moved and the closest Sam’s Club to my new home was very ghetto. We quickly switch to Costco as there was one close to us. Costco seems to have much better quality control over their locations compared to Sam’s Club.

I always say that to the Costco greeter. They look at me funny completely clueless. LOL, one woman greeter actually said, “I love you too.” ‘Bout lost it.
