My son is a manager at SAMS in Buford, GA and he just made an announcement that the EBT System is currently down across the US.
Another **planned** crisis?
The commies would just direct them to go lift what they need from middle class homes in the burbs. You know because reparations and stuff.

Do you have enough on hand to get by for a couple of days? Any friends or churches nearby who could organize meal deliveries for you?
I’m also currently getting EBT benefits, although I keep trying to improve my situation so I eventually won’t need them. I try to shop with the idea that benefits could get cut off at any time. As a result, my family has enough frozen and non-perishable foods stored up to last for a while. But, I know that not everyone is able to do that or has the space to store much. Praying you get through this ok!
I must pick up a few grocery items. I will be heading out to the local store that does not have many EBT customers. Instead of Walmart.
What would be interesting to watch, even though it would create total chaos, it would show the talent or lack thereof the IT folks running the EBT System.
A number of ransom attacks have encrypted the company’s data and offered to provide the key to unlock the data if the company paid the ransom.
Suppose a hacker did that to the EBT system, would the government have to pay it or would they have quality controls in place to get back up and running quickly.
