The crash and burn is inevitable. When will these idiots ever learn? Isn’t there one sane person in the board room of these companies?

Back about 20 years ago a company I worked for serviced the commercial microwaves in nearly every Burger King in my state. I haven't eaten there since.

Their food production area was horrible and unclean in almost every location.

BK wasn't the only one though. I saw plenty of filthy kitchens.

Burger King uses horsemeat, not beef.

About 20 years ago, I was in line at a Burger King (Portland Inl Apt, if I recall correctly, may have been somewhere else) and I watched as the cook cleaned his ear with his finger, examined it, and kept prepping burgers.

I exited the line and considered other options.

The very last time I was in a Burger King.

I used to love the whopper, but cannot stand them anymore because they suck.

Burger King will quickly realize that fake chicken and fake burgers are not what the public wants.

I walked in Burger King, ordered a burger and I said “this is really good”. The staff went silent in shock and the only sound I could hear was **crickets**.

I guess it would be no surprise that fake meat is a step up for fast food places.

Like I would take culinary advice from someone who thinks fast food is food.

First, there was the debut of Impossible Chicken Nuggets in 2021 [...] Then, KFC released Beyond Fried Chicken in January 2022 [...] Both of these, however, were small-format chick’n products. The Impossible Original Chick'n Sandwich at Burger King [...]

How does the FDA allow these companies to market products with names suggesting or explicitly declaring that they contain ingredients that they don't actually have?

Aren't these cases of outright deception?

FDA approved, just like the jabs. I feel so much better now.
