Some of fast food’s splashiest plant-based chicken rollouts have seriously impressed us in the past. First, there was the debut of Impossible Chicken Nuggets in 2021, a product that managed to capture the brothy flavor of real cooked poultry and deliver both crunch and chew without tasting springy or spongy. (Burger King tested these nuggets at various locations last fall.) Then, KFC released Beyond Fried Chicken in January 2022; these were essentially nuggets as well, and tasted “pretty spectacular,” according to our taste test.
Both of these, however, were small-format chick’n products. The Impossible Original Chick’n Sandwich at Burger King will feature a much larger patty, meaning more surface area to load with our favorite toppings and condiments. (Impossible Chicken Patties are also being rolled out to major grocery chains nationwide.)

Chick Fil A - one of my guilty pleasures. Even their diet cokes taste better, not watered down like most places.
LOL, thanks for the chuckle.
All them apples got worms. You just happened to see that one before you took a bite.
burger king “food” must be real crap, because no where on their website can i find the ingredients included for ANY of their food ...
also, no web searches on the internet reveal the ingredients in the fake chicken products that they source from a company in Chile called NotCo ... this stuff is real mystery “food” and it’s clear that none of the companies involved are proud of their garbage “foods” ...
Not very reassuring.
Hiding it isn't cricket.
Heh!
LOL...good one....wait, unless they....😱
Burger King will quickly realize that fake chicken and fake burgers are not what the public wants.
I went to a BK a few days ago.
They had a sign saying they had no real meat was available
Yes! The last time I went to Burger King (pre-Covid), they were out of...burgers. What the heck?! LOL!
I walked in Burger King, ordered a burger and I said “this is really good”. The staff went silent in shock and the only sound I could hear was **crickets**.
Like Soylent Green…..
I guess it would be no surprise that fake meat is a step up for fast food places.
Like I would take culinary advice from someone who thinks fast food is food.
“I stopped eating fast food about 10 years ago.”
The same here, 20 years ago. Maintaining better health!
How does the FDA allow these companies to market products with names suggesting or explicitly declaring that they contain ingredients that they don't actually have?
Aren't these cases of outright deception?

“Impossible Chicken” tested better than “Chicken-like Substance”. If fauci had stuck around, he was looking at funding a Gain of Function study on Chicken-Like Substance.
