Take a Look Inside a Cricket Farm…Which Is Where Your Food Will Come From Soon
PJ Media ^ | August 17, 2022 | Athena Thorne

It’s astonishing how, by the time we normal folk first hear of a new Globalist Socialist initiative, it turns out there’s already a significant amount of infrastructure in place. Take eating bugs, for example. Did you know that there are currently sizable cricket farms in many parts of the world, including Canada and the United States? Or that cricket flour is already used in some foods?

For example, Entomo Farms in Canada currently produces a weekly harvest of 50 million crickets, which it mills into 9,000 pounds of “protein.” The owners plan to triple production within a year. Some of the “cricket flour” goes into pet foods, while some is added to foods made for human consumption. And some of the insects are used intact as seasoned snack foods. The cricket producer already sells its products under the brand name Actually Foods.

There are some who believe, though no one has been able to show me where this thought came from, that "locusts" in the 1st century AD was a slang term for nectarines. Some say the Greek word "akrides" in Matthew 3:4 (saying John ate locusts and wild honey) has a dual meaning of being either locusts or different kinds of trees. I guess that's possible.

But Leviticus 11:22 does say locusts are a "clean" food. LOL And there's no denying the context. It's about locusts, even referring to them as crop destroying bug, as well as saying eating crickets and grasshoppers is "clean". LOL So if John the Baptist was a devout Jew (to the point of taking the Nazarite vow), I'd put money on him being a bug eater.

I got ya.
It doesn’t count as relocation if I move there, since I used to live there, right?

Plenty of protein is available in Florida (snakes) and Texas (feral hogs).

Feral hogs are running rampant in Texas, a sow can birth up to six litters a year. Little chance they'd be overhunted.

As soon as they got rid of Trump, the globalists started saying “you will own nothing and be happy” and you should eat bugs and locusts instead of beef. People like that would steal an election without batting an eyelash.

I've never heard that before and don't believe it.

The novel is often false.

OMG. I thought that was a parody, but it’s real!

The old saying, “I wouldn’t feed that to a dog” comes to mind.

I dated a gal from San Antonio in the 80’s and she swore by Stubbs.

I hate BBQ sauce, preferring a dry rub.

Gotta say I loved this BBQ sauce and forgot about it after leaving Oklahoma in 1989

Can't beat a good dry rub.

My stash of really really good Black Forest rub is running low.

I have to analyze it to see if I can recreate it.

Chiten cannot be processed out of insects, and CANNOT be processed by the human body.

It can cause all sorts of problems as a result.

Grasshoppers, locusts and crickets are kosher. Those are what John the Baptist ate.

I would eat them.

What's the hang-up? If you eat shrimp, crabs and lobsters, well those are basically the insects of the sea.

After all, crickets are the new lobster, as they say. (I think that would make a great advertising slogan.)

Now don't get me wrong, I also like a nice juicy steak. But I could definitely find a place in my diet for these little creatures. They really are packed with nutrition and roasted with a little garlic and olive oil, I'm sure they would make a side dish for my backyard barbeques that would make me the talk of the neighborhood.

And bitty violins.
