Since the outset of the global monkeypox outbreak in May, public health and infectious disease experts have told the public that the virus is largely transmitting through skin-to-skin contact, in particular during sex between men.
Now, however, an expanding cadre of experts has come to believe that sex between men itself — both anal as well as oral intercourse — is likely the main driver of global monkeypox transmission. The skin contact that comes with sex, these experts say, is probably much less of a risk factor.
In recent weeks, a growing body of scientific evidence — including a trio of studies published in peer-reviewed journals, as well as reports from national, regional and global health authorities — has suggested that experts may have framed monkeypox’s typical transmission route precisely backward.

If you look at the study linked the study itself warns about assuming this is an “African disease” or “gay disease” and mentioned several heterosexual male patients. That said, an appalling number of cases studied visited sex on site locations, traveled abroad and/or had sex while high on meth or something else. Come on people. Have we learned nothing? So long as the woke culture preaches against individual responsibility for fear of coming across as “judging” we’ll see such outbreaks. Unfortunately it’s very difficult for gay men to find trust and monogamy in their relationships. It’s not valued and openly sneered upon by many as characteristic of the oppressive heteronormative hegemony.

How many heterosexual people do you know who have had 1000 different sex partners? A significant portion of homos exceed that number.
