The only thing Eric is “famous” for is spewing anti-gun rhetoric between stints making extremely violent movies with lots of Uzis.

It’s nice to hear that the residents were not harmed, but I’m not sure this qualifies as ‘A Intruder’.
Apparently, the guy never actually got into their home.
Most people who own or rent a ground level home have had this experience in one way or another.
The intruder probably recognized Eric from movies, or his faint resemblance to his sister Julia.
Lucky for them, he didn’t know for sure who Eric was, or the intruder may have been far more aggressive, thinking this was a ‘rich’ movie actor with lots of valuables.
