Are they doing it in the Ukrainian-controlled parts of Ukraine too? It was primarily sold through the Silpo chain.

Do you think that every time a negative report about Ukrainian corruption emerges, making up the story of the alleged Russian corruption of similar nature helps to offset it?

“Russian corruption”

No fables. I document my sources. Just read the articles for clarity.

Yeah, that's why he waited 8 years before even recognizing their autonomous vote. Putin knows darn well that he cannot regenerate the U.S.S.R. He is not a stupid man. He has faults, just like Trump has his faults. But like Trump he has been viciously maligned by the same propaganda purveyors whom you gobble up their lies. just like the lies Goebbels had fed to the gullible German people.

But of course, you refuse to accept the facts. Color me not surprised in the least.

Have a blessed life you United Methodist Reverend.

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to embarrass. I just thought you might have a source for your opinion. But, it’s ok. You are entitled to have whatever opinion you want :)

“Putin knows darn well that he cannot regenerate the U.S.S.R. He is not a stupid man. He has faults”

We all have flaws. However, there is no comparison between President Trump & Putin.

Putin kills. He is a purveyor of death against his political enemies, against any critic, against any Russian protestor and against any foreign national that stands in his way.

However, he ‘reaps what he sows becoming increasingly paranoid. Bodyguards with bulletproof briefcases and high-powered pistols, look-alike stand-ins and food tasters are just some of the ways Russian President Vladimir protects himself from would-be possible assassins and coup plotters.

If you want to engage in Putin mythology, that is your option.Frankly, the rest of the world, and I, do not buy it.

Thank you for your kind thought & hope you will
have a blessed life as well.

Sorry but you are wrong, they share the same false vilification by the exact same players. Beyond that, the similarities end. You are just unwilling and thus incapable of seeing that similarity. But then you ignore facts that I presented regarding the Ukraine/Russia conflict, that even you can fact0check to see what I presented was the truth and nothing but the truth. Perhaps you are just to lazy to seek out the truth. But you refuse to have your narrative tarnished. In other words, you are just plain lazy, and do not care about the truth. Some preacher you are. SMDH.

“Putin & Trump do NOT share the same vilification.
You are just unwilling and thus incapable of seeing that similarity.”

1- I have checked: your alleged facts on Russian invasion are wrong.

2- “But you refuse to have your narrative tarnished.”
Your accusations against me are false.

We must all be cautious: Those who make false accusations are under God’s judgment (Psalm 5:6). As followers of Christ, we can expect that people will sometimes make false accusations against us. But, Jesus’ encouragement is given: “Blessed are you when people . . . falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven” (Matthew 5:11–12).

No matter what others say about us falsely, God’s Word says: “Though the arrogant have smeared me with lies, I keep your precepts with all my heart. Their hearts are callous and unfeeling, but I delight in your law” (Psalm 119:69–70).

Funniest story I’ve seen....within the last month, some of these new contract conscripts showed up and were taken to the starting point. They were expecting uniforms.

Well...shortage of uniforms was in effect. So they were bused up to the front in civies, and told that it might be two or three weeks before a truckload of uniforms would arrive, so they would ‘fight’ in civies.

"Your 30Trillion is already an intractable, completely unrecoverable, disastrous situation that cant be fixed no matter what you do.

I dissagree. The US GNP in 2021 was %23Trillion.

So the US owning $30 billion is like a household having a mortgage that is 1.3 times your annual income. Not impossible to deal with. Doubly so when you consider that that the US can borrow at rates much lower than a homeowner can.

And the unfunded liabilities without considering future income is like projecting your annual household expenses for the next 30 years and worrying that you don't have the current funds to cover it. You're only considering the expenditures and not the income for the next 30 years.

There are a lot of ways to improve our GNP. Get energy costs down, bring back manufacturing, get workforce participation back up, improve productivity through automation, etc.

And of course you can inflate out of it, which I hope they don't do since I'm nearing retirement. But inflation will drive up GNP while the debt remains the same. Creditors lose under inflation.

Of course if they keep spending more than they take in, all bets are off. But it is fixable.

And I absolutely agree with you that $40b is a trivial amount. Both Europe and the world will pay many many times more than that if Russia is allowed to keep their ill gotten oil, gas, steel and grain resources. I'm frustrated that Moscow Joe is slow walking the aid. So far we've only delivered about $8 billion despite Joe making a big deal about delivering a couple of hundred million every few days.

Ukrainian pin pricks won’t win this conflict nor turn the tide of its inevitability.

Western groupthink about Ukraine has peaked, a demonstration of the insanity of crowds. Decisions have inertia, it seems in proportion to how bad they are. The human ability to reject reality over emotions is a cognitive defect on the front lines of natural selection. It must have been that kamikaze thinking was a competitive advantage for group survival at some point.

The following should be your main focus, but apparently this nation is not very important to you, for if it were what is happening in Ukraine would be a very far second. the real fight is here, wake up:

Life, Liberty & Levin 8/14/22 With Leo Terrell & Victor Davis Hanson

If we lose this, then we open the door for Russia to become a real menace. We are wasting our time & resources right now by focusing on the Ukraine/Russia conflict. Let Europe handle what is in their backyard.

You totally misunderstand-

“We all knew after the disaster that was Afghanistan and the surrender by this administration what was coming. We all knew when Biden was appeasing Putin in every possible way, whether it was a pipeline or a nuclear deal and so forth, we all knew that this day would come.”

In summary: the US should not cower to Putin.

Apparently you already believe that Russia is already a menace, who you believe is already capable of becoming the USSR. So imagine what the possibilities would be with out U.S.A.. Only without a strong U.S. is Russia incapable of reconstituting the USSR.

Your priorities are grossly misplaced for the times.
