After the events of August 8, 2022, the sobering question was asked “What do we do now?”
Permission to contribute a partial answer.
I believe the order in which the Bill of Rights was written may be divinely expired. They are in fact, a blueprint for restoring Constitution governance for when (not if) those who swore to protect and defend said document began to abuse and/or ignore that oath and become as it was written a “...Form of Government [that] becomes destructive of these ends…”.
Of the 10 steps to restoring Constitution governance, for brevity, I will focus on just the First Amendment, which I believe is the most important and the most powerful. Of course, there will be some from the “from my cold, dead hands” department who disagree with this premise. I will address those types first to lead into my First Amendment strategy.
“… if you don’t know what to shoot, who to shoot, when to shoot, where to shoot, and most important – why you are shooting in the first place, the weapons you possess are useless, or even detrimental (the 5 W’s). Yet, if you have all the above, anything can become a weapon. And the most powerful weapon in your arsenal is YOU…” - and yes, you can quote me on that.
Back to the First…
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof …
This isn’t just about where or if you go to church. This is about you. Your personal faith. Each person, on their own conviction must conclude to themselves that expecting a resolution via political means will not be enough and that action must be taken in some fashion, knowing that any action may require economic or even physical sacrifice. You no longer fear war. You no longer wait for that dubious “2nd civil conflict” (dare I say it). You accept the fact that it is here, and doing nothing is not an option. And note: that doesn’t mean simply picking up a rifle and running to the store for more munitions.
..Or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press;
I could write volumes about this. But let’s put it this way. There are tribes of goat herders and opium farmers that have chased 3 technological superior empires out of their country in the last 150 years. It didn’t happen immediately. The soldiers were greeted as liberators (we are told), not understanding that they were just another occupying force with all the power. But as the locals became less accepting of what they considered repeated abuse, it was decided counter-measures needed to be designed, adopted, and deployed to counteract the opposing force. Long before any kinetic actions were even considered, the 5W’s came into play (see above).
By the way, did you know that the U.S. DOD, and other federal law enforcement agencies spend more on intelligence gathering than on weapons? But I digress…
When it comes to speech, we should remember the basic speech is talking to your family and nearest neighbors. Just get to know them if you don’t already. It’s a good start. If you’re of like mind, you’ll learn that much of you get your information from the same sources. This is the basics of a good network of communication.
Next, each person needs to become a receptacle for information but there is a greater need to consume the latest bit of news. Every major event can and should be a teachable moment. Examples:

They have a vast intelligence gathering network. Where’s ours? It is your speech, and your press that can and should become "weapons grade material." Want to stop the next illegal/hostile actions of government actions? Learn from all the previous ones; not just the news clippings, but all the details (see SALUTE reports).

But the most important advice I can give is to stop with the black-pilled, ‘the sky is falling’ narrative that plagues right-thinking forums. Too many sites I visit are filled with theoretical speculation on how bad it’s going to get, and very few posts on what can be done to make it better, or for that matter fighting back. Much of what can be done is not illegal – yet. What is needed is positive constructive ideas, meaningful information that moves the ball forward, and less fighting with each other.
Words are important. Before each post, we should ask ourselves: “Is what I am about to say helpful to liberty? A defense against tyranny? Or is it just another version of "You will own nothing and be happy"?
What is it that you want? How do you get there? And what do you need to make it happen? Take a step back, and force yourself to answer these questions.
If we wish to be victorious, we must not expect one human to save us all. Nor should we simply surrender after setbacks, or expect victory overnight. Each of us must look within ourselves; alter our lifestyles as necessary to preserve liberty for ourselves and more important, our posterity. We have a long road ahead. Let us prepare ourselves accordingly.

The Tenth Amendment should have been the first.
I hate to break this to you, but what we know today as the "First Amendment" was not actually the first amendment proposed to the U.S. Constitution. It was the actually the third proposed amendment. The first two proposed amendments were never ratified, hence the third proposed amendment became "Amendment I."
So, I dunno, you may wish to rethink your basic thesis.
yeah, I got that: no congressional raises until after the next election (ratified later), and the other that slips my mind right now.
So how about we say, the of the first 10 that were passed...

As a side note to your insight about the 10th Amendment (10A) being 1st Amendment (1A), please consider the following.
When Thomas Jefferson wrote about 1A on one occasion, he first borrowed wording from 10A to introduce 1A.
"10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
"1st Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
“3. Resolved that it is true as a general principle and is also expressly declared by one of the amendments to the constitution that ‘the powers not delegated to the US. by the constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively or to the people’: and that no power over the freedom of religion, freedom of speech, or freedom of the press being delegated to the US. by the constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, all lawful powers respecting the same did of right remain, & were reserved, to the states or the people: that thus was manifested their determination to retain to themselves the right of judging how far the licentiousness of speech and of the press may be abridged without lessening their useful freedom, and how far those abuses which cannot be separated from their use should be tolerated rather than the use be destroyed; …” —Thomas Jefferson, Kentucky Resolutions, 1798.
The problem concerning both 1&2A now is that they often seem to be the totality of the Constitution for many Constitution-challenged patriots, patriots themselves inadvertently nullifying 10A imo.
More specifically about “forgotten” 10A, we probably wouldn't be oppressed under the boots of the unconstitutionally big federal government like we are now if Trump's red tsunami of patriot supporters better understood that the states reserved the lion's share of "government" power to serve the people to the states when the Founding States constitutionally divided federal and state government powers.
In other words, the constitutional division of federal and state government powers isn't what you would call "equal" or "fair" at all, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention intending for the feds to play a relatively minor role in our peacetime daily lives imo.
In fact, arguably one of the very few "significant" powers that the states have expressly constitutionally given to the feds to dictate domestic policy is to run the U.S. Mail Service.
"Article I, Section 8, Clause 7: To establish Post Offices and post Roads;"
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
In fact, the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, the main author of Section 1 of the 14th Amendment, had emphasized that the Founding States had left the care of the people to the states, not the federal government.
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
The bottom line is that most federal domestic policy now is based on stolen state powers imo.
The ultimate remedy for unconstitutionally big federal government is the following imo.
Patriots need to start supporting their Trump-endorsed candidate state lawmakers ASAP to peacefully stop the unconstitutionally big government in its tracks by leading ALL the states to effectively “secede” from the corrupt federal government by repealing the 16th and 17th Amendments.
