Pee in the yard...

I pee around my flowers, not on them, and the deer don’t come near them.

My neighbor had an electric fence around his garden. It worked for a few years, but then one year the deer learned to go through between the audible “clicks” which charged the fence and in one night went in and destroyed his garden.

“Clash cymbals”

I’m sure the neighbors will love that. LoL!

The wife uses this pre-mixed stuff. Nasty-azz smelling stuff, and expensive. But she seems to think it works. Comes with its own spray nozzle. I hate deer. They think our yard is a salad bar.

NOTE...once I bought the concentrate of the same brand (Liquid Fence), mixed my own, sprayed some plants...and they died. I may've mixed it wrong. Never had a problem with the pre-mix.

I used hair clippings from beauty salons and barbers. It works if you put new out every week

I think its called a scare crow. Its a water sprinkler with an electric eye. It sprays the deer when it detects the motion.

A .22 with a suppressor and subsonic rounds.

No the most humane solution, but the population will run off and die.

A serious answer would be a wrist rocket slingshot and a ball bearing.

I used that in Israel to keep out feral pigs the Romans were kind enough to leave behind.

I have heard that they don’t like strong odors and some have suggested using Irish Spring soap placed at intervals around the garden.

I never tried it.

Rumor has it if the men in the family water the perimeter of the garden, if you get my drift, that is supposed to be effective.

Dilute Murphys oil soap + 1 egg, let ‘mellow’ in the sun, spray on or around plants. Nasty, nasty smelling stuff. Keeps the deer from eating our daylillies. You have to reapply after it rains.

I tried electrifying. Had wires spaced 6 foot high. They would still destroy our winter crops.

Finally I said enough and put an 8 foot high fence using netting wire. No more problems
