The US Justice Department is investigating whether former President Donald Trump violated the Espionage Act, which prohibits retaining national security information that could harm the United States or aid a foreign adversary, The New York Times, Politico and The Guardian report. Per an FBI warrant obtained by the outlets, Trump is also being investigated for violating additional statutes relating to obstruction of justice and destroying federal government records. Conviction under these statutes can result in imprisonment or fines.

We know as a matter of common knowledge and demonstrable fact that Hillary, Obama and Biden have violated the espionage act on frequent occasions. The act cannot be brought to bear on the presidency, however, since the president is the arbiter of what is classified and what is not.

Don’t be surprised if more raids take place. The J6th committee wants to conduct their own raid, as well as the New York State Attorney General. Obviously the FBI will be sent back in to conduct these raids.
The ceaseless campaigns against Trump from 2016 on is a sight to behold. We all know the goal is to prevent the American people from having the choice of where to choose Donald Trump once again as POTUS. That’s why they had the Russia hoax, multiple impeachments, set up Jan 6, now we have the document “gate.” It’s all been about demonization to undermine support for his agenda. He’s not looking far off when he’s said it’s not about him it’s about We the People and he’s just in the way. They are ridiculous at this point.

yes, and the criminal punishment can be stayed, especially in a case like this one would be.
To take this to extremes any president who reviewed TS documents would have to be killed or given a lobadamy to make certain they would not give away secrets.
