Has anyone else out there noticed that their local ‘farmer’s market’ has been changed to a ‘community market’?
What’s a community market?
Only thing I noticed is that this year, with temps near 100 when tomatoes won’t ripen, all the sellers had red tomatoes and they happened to look just like the typical slicing tomato you’d find in the grocery store. All the markets have a rule that you’re only supposed to grow what you sell.
Now that the weather has cooled enough for tomatoes to ripen, they all have what looks more like farmer’s market tomatoes. Varying colors, not perfectly round etc.
Not up here. Yet.
The very famous ‘Dane County Farmer’s Market’ hasn’t changed their name and it’s run by a bunch of Bleeding Heart Liberals out of, ‘The People’s Republik of Madistan,’ so they’d be the FIRST to Virtue Signal around here.
