What’s a community market?
Only thing I noticed is that this year, with temps near 100 when tomatoes won’t ripen, all the sellers had red tomatoes and they happened to look just like the typical slicing tomato you’d find in the grocery store. All the markets have a rule that you’re only supposed to grow what you sell.
Now that the weather has cooled enough for tomatoes to ripen, they all have what looks more like farmer’s market tomatoes. Varying colors, not perfectly round etc.
LOL...rarely enforced. We have markets here in East Tennessee that offer big fat red tomatoes for sale in MAY...you know damn well no one in this area had them ready this early, even though the same 'rule' is in place.
As for 'community market'...it is just a red flag that you may have progressives involved in the operation(s) of your market...not a good thing.
