Bronx smash-and-grab nets over $2M in diamond jewelry

A classic smash-and-grab heist in the Bronx netted a clutch of thieves more $2.15 million in “high end diamond jewelry” during a wild, caught-on-video robbery on Friday, police said.

And here I was thinking about mob protection. That would have worked in the '60s. Swift justice and all that. Hyman Roth would find the right protector for them.
