Gov. Abbott’s idea to bus illegal migrants from Texas to NYC and DC is getting their attention

Abbott's busloads of illegals to Washington were so successful they've prompted him to expand his operation to sanctuary city New York.

Back in April, Texas's Republican governor, Greg Abbott, pledged to bus migrants who had entered Texas illegally to Washington, D.C. on a voluntary basis.

It was laughed at in the press and among Democrats as a "publicity stunt" at the time. But the governor was dead serious, and kept that promise. Leadership is contagious, and Abbott was soon joined by Arizona's Gov. Douglas Ducey.

For months, the states of Texas and Arizona have been sending charter buses of illegal border crossers being let in by Joe Biden's open borders policy to Washington, D.C.'s Union Station, near the Capitol building and now to New York City, led by Mayor Eric Adams, who loudly proclaims his city a sanctuary city, with laws on the books saying the city is required to provide housing to all comers.

Abbott's office says that over 6,100 migrants have been bussed to D.C. so far.

Abbott expanded his operation by transporting migrants to the Big Apple, which he said like Washington, D.C. is an “ideal destination” due to the city’s generous treatment of homeless people.

However, officials based in D.C. or NYC, despite their claims of compassion aren’t exactly giving the migrants the red carpet treatment.

Millions of illegals come over the border in AZ, TX, NM due to Democratic policies, with no regard to the welfare of the local citizens. A few thousand show up in D.C. and NYC and suddenly it’s a crisis.

What is disturbing is there are handlers already waiting in NY and DC who escort the illegals away from journalists who want to interview them and find out where they came from and why they came. Most say they came here illegally because Joe biden invited them.

Abbott shoipd,declare that from now,on, since democrats want illegals so badly, all illegals crossing the border and detained will be shipped to democrat cities. They are creating the problem, then let them deal with the results of that problem. . It may cost money to ship them out of state, but he wil. Save money by not hav8n to pay the costs that illegals rack up, which is astonishingly high.

At first, I scoffed at Abbott's plan to bus illegals into big blue cities, figuring it was nothing but political theater.

I now acknowledge this may be having a much bigger impact than expected.

At first, back in April, the ARIZONA AND TEXAS GOVS were ridiculed for what was wrongly interpreted as a mere political stunt when they started offering migrants free bus rides to the US’ major urban hubs.

But the migrants turned out to be eager to take advantage.

And why not?

The mayors of these two cities ......Nyc and DC......had ostentatiously declared them “sanctuary cities.” They had boasted that diversity made them stronger and that migrants were welcome.

But - uh, oh, here come the migrants! And suddenly, these same mayors turned tail and are now screaming for govt help........ calling out the National Guard, calling for federal funds.

There are labor jobs in the NE as many of the sheeple there are too lazy or soft to work them. At least a lot of these illegals will start the track of entering The American Dream.
