It was 2:47am on Sunday when 80-year-old business owner Craig Cope saw a group of young hooded men entered his California liquor store holding rifles.
But the store owner wasn't defenseless. Cope had a shotgun hidden out of sight, waiting as the would-be robbers approached Norco Market & Liquor in the 800 block of Sixth Street.
Video shows a 23-year-old male holding a long gun and creeping into the liquor store.
Four suspects armed with guns were waiting outside, planning to rob the store while wearing facial coverings, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
When the man approaches, Cope reaches for his shotgun and fires straight into the approaching robber.

>>everyone should go watch the video and hear the punk screaming HE SHOT MY ARM OFF
He should be thankful the store owner wasn’t wielding one of those 9mm handguns; I’m told those rounds “blow the lungs right out of the body”.
Put them in the military, with the rainbow battalions.
Wrong. If assault weapons are banned, the bad guys will obediently turn in their weapons, because we all know gun control laws are effective.
It gave me a good chuckle when the weenie went screaming and crying. And the getaway driver was going to leave the guy behind. LOL!
“owner suffered a heart attack “
Did he live?
If this sort of ending happened more often, we’d see a dramatic decrease in the crime rate.
For years and years the default action was to shoot anyone coming into your store masked. Nice to see it coming back!
Ha! I thought the same thing - they parked in a Handicap spot and should get a fine for that, but under the circumstances, I guess it’s okay now.
“I hope someone sets up a gofundme for the dude...”
Better would be GiveSendGo — Christian conservative. GoFundMe owners are America-hating libs.
you guys gotta see this...guy calls cops on ATF agent who shows up at his door...watch it until the end..

Yes he has been released from hospital
In California, we have these thin plastic plates, like paper, that are temporary tags used until a car is registered to the owner, new or used. Seems like on any given day about 10% of the cars have them.
Of course this car was stolen and the temporary plates are easy to steal.
Yeah, but if nobody had a gun there'd be none to steal! (libspeak)
It’s always a getaway Mercedes or (now bloodied) stolen BMW.
Now the Hollowoody elitist RATS will be pushing a ban of “convenience store assault shotguns”. The RATS’ former jailbird criminals are taking some serious hits.
Prayers for the owner. Riverside is more conservative than Los Angeles (barely). I fear thos man will be charged and sued for “violating the poor good boys civil rights.”
Yes..... the only better outcome would have been a neck shot with the shotgun....
they are screwed
they were parked in a handicap spot
You know i’m not so sure. Neck shot and he’d be dead, and all the homies would forget about him in a week. Now he’s the constant reminder — the guy walking around with a (hopefully) shriveled and useless arm.
