You’ve never known the joy of a bowling tournament, now have you?

Amen to that. I’m in my mid 70’s, and play around 3 times a week. Great exercise for the mind and body. we have about 28 to 32 guys each day, which makes for some interesting competition. Bragging rights and money to be had.

Tiger wasn’t being offered that amount to win, he was offered that amount to affiliate with the league and to participate. The new tour was also rumored to have offered Jack Nicklaus $100 million as well, which he turned down. Surely they didn’t even expect jack to swing a club.

Gold digger?

Tiger had as many acts of flagrant infidelity as Mick Jaggar. His wife and mother of his progeny was at home and doing her job while he's out committing moral sin.

And she is supposed to shaddap and accept $100k and some coupons as a lovely parting gift?

Tiger should have kept it in his pants. HE destroyed the trust that should exist between a husband and a wife.

Instead, he's a hero to some, and she's a gold digger? All because he can hit a little ball into a cup with fewer strokes than other losers?

Wow...we rightly bash the left for holding up Hollyweird as some paragon of virtue. I guess it's different if the creepy guy is a golfer.

So much for morality being a conservative virtue.

At least there is carnage in bowling, with pins flying around and the crash of the ball into the pins.

The best it gets in golf is a sand trap, or the ball goes in the water. I CAN watch Caddyshack over and over, so consider that when taking me seriously.

Btw, I golfed once. I was terrible. And despite my rant, I have an appreciation for how hard is golf, the mind over matter dimension, and super talented guys. To wit: this Masters' shot that Bubba made is perhaps THE greatest display of skill on the links ever. I saw it live on TV

But sitting through hours of fairway shots etc. to get to one moment of WOW doesn't maximize my utility curve. Your mileage may vary.

That shot by Bubba Watson was great, shots like that happen every week on the PGA tour.

Cameron Smith who just on the British Open shot a 64 in the final round at St.Andrews which is where golf was born. He started the final round 4 shots behind and ended up winning by 2 in one of best final rounds of a major tournament in history.

People are certainly free to dislike any sport, but I don’t understand the need to trash something you don’t like much less watch when millions of other people do.

I don’t particularly care for Soccer, but it’s the most popular sport in the world by far there really isn’t a close 2nd sport and I don’t trash it just to make a point.

It simplye means LIV HAS THE MONEY .

If they can offer close to a BILLION to one player, then LIV has the financial backing to rival the woke leftard PGA and crush it.

Your average golf course maintenance includes putting down 5 times the pesticides per acre than the average midwest farmer.

(I used to deliver a variety of sands to over 120 courses in an approximate 200 mile radius, and got to chat with a couple of golf course workers that had worked as farm hands. That was their analysis.)

I tell friends that golf to not touch their face after handling golf balls that have been rolling all over the course. And the same for the golfing shoes.

The woke PGA is screwed then and that’s darn good. They have the money and the resources to destroy the PGA. It wasn’t coincidence that a lot of PGA players bolted.

**Watching golf is the leading cause of boredom in adults.**

My wife says it is a tie with baseball. I agree.

Disagree. If you play golf, there is nothing more soothing and enjoyable than golf on a weekday afternoon. Same with baseball.

My good FRiend, this was all in fun. I didn't think my over-the-top post needed the /sarc tag.

But honestly, WATCHING golf - which was what I said - is like watching video gamers, to me. To each his own.

Golf isn't a threat to civilization.

However, Soccer IS a threat and, along with the metric system, is a direct assault on American exceptionalism and hegemony.

Soccer stars from overseas talking to kids is like drag queens at the library. Man U and the litre can go to heck.

Playing a game for leisure is agreeable. My wife and I like tennis or riding bikes. But riding a good horse over a rolling pasture or scenic trail is great fun. The original ATV.

Yep he’s probed a few in his lifetime. The question becomes
“how many fingers does he probe with”.

All that said, notice how a golf thread garnered 36 replies.

Of course half of them are hater-posts, but maybe that's the point.

I’ve seen pics of the two porn stars he paid to “play” with.

He definitely downgraded himself. Bigly.

And she is supposed to shaddap and accept $100k and some coupons as a lovely parting gift?

You haven't really been paying attention have you? Her parting gift was a $750 million settlement.............

Go figure, a cute, lonely little book store girl and part time model from Sweden named Elin gets hired by PGA pro golfer Jesper Parnevik and imported into the United States to become a nanny to his children.

Not long afterwards, she meets the number one golfer in the world, and arguably the richest, and ultimately they get married.

Then following a rocky divorce, promptly hooks up with another wealthy billionaire named Chris Cline,

who also has a penchant for big boats.

And here she is with her latest boyfriend and baby daddy, Jordan Cameron, EX NFL tight end for the Miami Dolphins.

Not to worry Jordan, Elin has the cash enough to keep the both of you happy for your term of marriage.......if you have one.

Tiger Woods earned his wealth through years of dedication and hard work. Elin Nordegren screwed her way to the top...........

In the words of Paul Harvey: "And now you know...the rest of the story"

Without Tiger Woods there would not be a PGA.
I am thinking they countered offer. More from them and more for endorsements.
