Monday on “CNN Newsroom,” network medical analyst Dr. Leana Wen called on the United States to “declare a state of emergency” over the monkeypox outbreak.
Last week, the World Health Organization advised gay and bisexual men to reduce their number of sexual partners “for the moment” to prevent the spread of the virus.
Wen said declaring a state of emergency would “allow the Biden administration to appoint a monkeypox czar” and allow for more resources to be put into combatting the spread.

My gracious, the Junior Mussolinis are fond of their states of emergency, aren’t they? A vaccine emergency, a climate emergency, and now it’s Field Marshal Von Anus and the Rectal Rash Brigade. That ought to put a few more billions into the trough.
The WHO’s advice is scandalous. They are not about “health” at all. They are a political organization. If they truly were about health, they would advise that anal penetration is a vector for Monkey Pox and numerous other diseases and should never be practiced under any circumstances.
